A sound clip or YouTube vid of the exhaust on start up would be awesome if it's not too much bother
  3. So you don't have the mines baffles? I put them in and zero blow by plus that's a heap easier than adding a fitting to the sump, making a line etc
  4. Getting much blow by? The wheel fitment looks great, are the guards rolled?
  5. Dave did it have the bell mouth on it when they pulled you over? What did they say about it?
  6. I'm working on something for you banana benders, I'll pm you when it's sorted
  7. Dave if you want those specs let me know I know of a set brand new in boxes and at a good price for you only
  8. It's a stock head (no porting) so it's not as efficient as it could be, I just want to see how far it can go before swapping to a ported head The ones that maxed out weren't ID's they were rochesters
  9. Wait, you mean that's not normal? I'll post a pic of what I used last week to play xbox and Andrew won't feel so bad haha
  10. Julz I'm not trying to be a prick, sorry if my question came accross that way. Like I said, I don't like seeing people getting taken for a ride. If you feel what you're paying is fair then great, enjoy the car
  11. Well on mine it used 45% more on power runs, who cares about normal running (it's less of course) I use 2 o44's external and have zero issues. STACKS of big power cars use them, usually in the boot with a 2L or so surge tank. Edit; Mine maxed out 1000's on the fourth dyno run, there's vids on YouTube but the lesson is that 1000's on my setup (26/30 like you) was no good. They lasted until a touch over 400rwkw before there was no more duty cycle to go. Went with Injector Dynamics 2000's and very happy. It drives so much better now aswel which I wasn't expecting. Speak to Trent at Mercury Motorsport for pricing, I got them from him. I think your setup will be a heap of fun to drive, good luck with it all
  12. Will do mate Ill start the super long thread up again
  13. Hey everyone, This year the club is going through a lot of changes. Some basic and some behind the scenes to make everyones lives a bit easier. Here's the first; Annual club membership. This year, club membership will change from the current system to an annual system with pro rata. How does this work? Easy; The old system is that you pay the fee and are valid for 12 months from that date. The new system is pro rata and all renewals on the 1st July, so if you join in August you pay 11 months worth of membership fee (total annual fee divided by 12 then multiplied by 11). Whenever the date is 6 months or less from the renewal date, the payment is for one full year plus what's left of the current year. So for example if you signup in June you would pay for the rest of the year (again, total fee divided by 12 then multiplied by 1, I know you don't need to multiply by one I'm trying to make it simple) then add the next years fee. Simple! Why are we doing this? The secretary has a tough job keeping up with renewals and signups at times and this is SO much easier so she can have less stress and some more time to focus on other things. Plus it makes sense to do it this was for ordering the welcome packs (we don't want to order 5 of something one month then 2 the next month, we prefer bigger orders on longer intervals and this works perfectly with our merchandise sales) Shell has sent an email to all current members to make sure they're all up to date, if you didn't get it, or you're not financial please let one of the exec team know so we can sort that out or you. A calandar will also be put up very soon (just finishing off details), trust me there's a HUGE year ahead for members. The discounts on entry to the Texi's alone will pay for membership to the club, so what are you waiting for?! Cheers -Steve SAUNSW President
  14. Not being rude here, but seriously 40k for a 26/30? I'm having a VERY hard time adding that up. Even with a billet 86mm crank and brand name parts for the rest i can't add it all up. Mind posting an engine spec list please? I hate hearing of people getting ripped off
  15. Stock head will do over 400kw. Mine is 455rwkw and no porting, another I know of has drop in cams and does 460awkw with stock ports. Just add boost
  16. Stock block is fine. Spend the money elsewhere
  17. Daily's are welcome, we've even had a Ford Territory (yep, the 4wd tank) have a go haha, wasnt quick but he had fun No worries, there's spots so send away
  18. Yes yes its clean. So, more info on said beers?
  19. Once you experience Unigroup, you wont bother with anywhere else
  20. That stuff is pretty expensive p/m. Have you looked at boxed setups for the boot? I think UAS or Advan had a decent one for sale a while back
  21. Higher CR pistons shouldnt cost anymore than normal CR pistons
  22. GTRAAH you should clarify what box you've got. OSGiken make more than one gearbox option. I'll guess you have a 5spd kit that goes into your standard gearbox case. When you say latest drag box, people will assume the OS88 is what you've got
