  1. Well that's cause we aren't talking about RB25's in here Eg mine on 5's (before bearing let go) did 150rwkw at 3000rpm, 235rwkw at 4000, then maxed the boost (ebc was off and was running off the pussy actuators). It was well on it's way to the same sort of number as before but was making something like 5psi from the start of the run at 1500rpm which is just incredible to drive. Anyway, back to GTRs, maybe this guy needs to be posting in the 400kw thread
  2. Btw Nismoids car on 9's was stupidly quick through hills, havnt been in it since his recent turbo swap, but will soon. So it's not like 9's are crap, I'm not saying that, I'm trying to say you've spent about 10k in parts which pretty much all will be a waste on those turbos (stock rebuild in stock block will be fine for 9's). Where are you located? You could always meet up with some built GTR owners and go for a ride or two before making the choice.
  3. Diff gears done aswel? Ok forget -9. They're Just a terrible choice IMO given the rest of the setup. Don't get caught up in the lag difference between -9 and -5, you're probably thinking it will be a lag monster and suck from reading the threads on here, given your gearing and the rest of the setup stick 5's on there and enjoy your car. Pump should be fine. Power fc will also be fine.
  4. You've got SO many parts there needed for 400kw, so why not aim a bit higher? I'd be putting a set of -5's on there (cheaper than gtss/-9 also), run them up to 24 psi. You havnt mentioned ECU Go get some "ID1000" injectors by a company called Injector Dynamics. Their drivability (eg street manners) is out of this world good. Yes NISMO AFMs will do the job Sell the current turbos, they're laggy and for that lag won't pay off with power.
  5. 12psi. Do it right, get at least a nistune and tuned on a dyno. Edit; and steel wheeled turbos
  6. Fkn a! I reckon this will kick ass!
  7. Ceramic turbos? Also without being rude, how can ANYONE know the condition of your coils and therefore know when they will have issues? Stock coils are awesome units but due to age some will fail. Go for gold then replace down the line if they have a drama.
  8. I'll be there to watch Ash do another front diff
  9. If you plan on abusing one, and think a rebuild costs 5k, the best advice is; stay away from a GTR. Buying it is cheap, maintaining it is where the real cost is
  10. Exactly, every setup is different, every tune is different, it just can't be predicted accurately so anyone here can only go off their own experience doing the e85 swap
  11. Ok using a 90% duty cycle, allowing for 30% extra from the E85 conversion, that's 504hp at the engine. It's all theory until you try it though. Aaaaaaaand end thread.
  12. There is no definite answer, every setup is different.
  13. Sounds good. As this opening post has no hard info, pics, details etc i'm putting it in the general discussion area. Once you've started and have some actual content, feel free to start in the projects section again
  14. Sigh GTR stock BOVs are some of the best out there. Replacing them is lunacy. Just because a company sells a product, it isn't always an "up"grade.
  15. There's a dump? Lol
  16. Yeah the food there isn't bad but on Saturday night the smell was pretty bad
  17. As always, the oportos on the highway was a good feed on both days and not as far away as you'd think
  18. Im curious to see what these air jacks look like that SSE and Cyber were using, does anyone have pics please?
  19. Keep it on topic guys; want to talk V8's? Leave the RB30 section
  20. That's clearly a case of keeping up with the Jones's. Another vote for results!
  21. Yes, they're the same. End of story. Next!
  22. Ian where are you seeing the rips 34 numbers please? I love your wheel choice btw, very understated
  23. "oh dear" "it's like a horse with horns" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heCsKujaxs4
