  1. Ok, here's some clarification; The top one is a GT crank (Not to be confused with N1), runs a 77.7mm stroke (eg 2.8L), as you can see its a serious bit of gear. The bottom is a standard GTR crank, 73.7mm stroke, used in all GTR road cars that are 2.6L (so all normal GTR's, V Specs, V Spec2's, NUR and N1's). Eventhough that particular one is being sold as N1 (and a lot of shops do the same thing here, maybe it boosts sales?!) its just a stock GTR crank. Part number from FAST for an N1 engine lists it as 12200-05U03, part number for a stock standard RB26 in FAST also shows the exact same crank as 12200-05U03. FYI the majority (if not all) N1 parts have "24U" in the code in place of "05U". Lastly, the GT crank is from Nismo not Nissan. Good luck with the build.
  2. You mean these two, correct?
  3. Out of interest, before your R34 was retired what was its best lap around PI?
  4. Wrong area. Moved.
  5. Yeah this is an interesting point. My throttle response hasn't got any better or worse since before and after the E85 swap. I took the time to make sure it was how I wanted it while it was on pump though. Edit; I dont mean turbo lag.
  6. What area are you in? Its at a few places now, so if the skyline isn't your daily driver you'll be fine. You're talking a 2.6L right? Mine maxed 1000's at 403rwkw but its an rb30 - capacity makes a difference.
  7. Just thinking about volume, how do you have so much drive by noise? Other cars there with straight pipe exhausts and external gates didnt sound anywhere as good for the most part
  8. Don't stop posting, this thread is for F1 so the more info the better IMO
  9. ^^^ That sounds like a heap of fun!
  10. What makes Paul say that is no doubt that he makes 400kw, and knows that theory can be a long way from reality. By all means try your theory, go get some ID2000's, a large fuel pump or two 044's, whatever EBC you like, -9's and see how you go at 24psi. Let us know how you go
  11. Ash don't bother, no matter how many times you or anyone else says it there will always be people that insist on doing it twice instead of right the first time
  12. 400kw thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/251820-got-over-400kw-atw/
  13. Have a look at the Ross balancer with the crank trigger.
  14. ID2000's used here. Happy customer.
  15. Looks great! I've got a black Supra that needs that treatment
  16. When you buy them, get the 1bar actuators from Garrett/GCG. Then your boost controller can do the rest
  17. Pirtek and enzed have mobile vans, they come to you and do it on the spot
  18. No dramas. Tell us how you go! Keep an eye on the NSW events area, at any club run event there's a few GTRs (power ranging from stock to over 400kw).
  19. It goes to 12psi. Time to search, it's all covered, pros, cons, DIY etc
  20. No need for hope, -5's, 24psi, good luck with that in 2nd gear
  21. I can think of a few awd GTRs that just wreck rubber aswel
  22. Pulled the stock boost restrictor?
  23. Piranha if you're in Sydney, it's easy enough to get you a ride in a 300kw GTR and back to back in a 400kw GTR. I promise you will want the 400kw one then once you've seen them back to back. Good point Ash made about one person's idea of lag against another. For example you may get someone thinking a 2.6L and GTRS's is a good setup-in most peoples minds they'd say that setup is totally crap, but the owner may like it. See what you like and go from there
