  1. i always use 14.0 @ 98 MPH
  2. There is a company down there (Melbourne) that has obtained some very 'excited' results from their dyno. They even had the stupidity to start a thread on here to beat their own chest...which horribly backfired and left them with zero credibility. It may have been dyno'd there....lol
  3. my days of rebuilding/replacing gearboxes at events are over...sorry...cant hold me to that one.
  4. wouldn't have said it if i wasn't serious....its not Friday
  5. In Melbourne i recommend Racepace.
  6. Lunch it in the quest for a burnout title and ill rebuild it for expenses only...Running Red R Racing decals on the car is a mandatory requirement. I have a big oil cooler you can borrow.
  7. its a sex act.
  8. here's my effort
  9. can you TIG ?
  10. top shelf product...you wont be disappointed.
  11. Thanks Noel...top stuff. I for the life of me cannot work out why all the smartasses are the ones who couldn't screw a 2 dollar whore, let alone an engine together. It is quite common for an engine to leave a shop with a masking tape note on it to instruct the installer of things that are required before start-up. i.e. the crank pulley and or timing belt tensioning...even telling them to fill with the correct grade run-in oil!...the example below is from Croydon racing telling me what needs to be checked before start-up. If anyone thinks they can properly tension an RB26 crank pulley on an engine stand...id like to know! Ive been building engines for various cars since i was 16 years old and have never had a problem with any engine due to poor workmanship. The build quality of all the cars ive owned is top shelf, as i accept nothing less. I dont care where people go to get their work done as im building engines for the love of it as a hobby and not as a business. The people who have been able to secure my time and services are impressed by the attention to detail, the constant feedback and advice i give. If it chirps 2nd...im happy and so are they.
  12. is your rolling diameter the same?...if not your not doing your transfer case and front diff any favours.
  13. how about a flame popping 9500 clutch dump along Burwood Rd...will that do?
  14. When i had my P's you only had them for a year...now you have them for 3 years...so there are at least THREE times the amount of P platers on our roads....so yes...more P platers are killed now...simple logic.
  15. buy a Vi-PEC...heaps better processor, more features, easier to tune, better aftersales. Power FC is old dated technology.
  16. im off to a big party the night before and probably till dawn of the 14th...but i may be there if someone drives me.
  17. bummer...wanted all the rotors and pads...
  18. leave all the badges off
  19. Thats how we do it...custom billet flywheel with 'blocks' left on it and the pick-up mounted on the belhousing cover (thin plate between engine and gearbox)
  20. Stuffed yes...but also repairable.
  21. well that was pretty easy Steve-o BTW my daughter thinks your avatar is a bit of a worry.
  22. Again...this is NOT a rebadged Link...contact Scott at Insight in sydney for supply fitting and tuning.
