  2. no...went to the track and ran 12.4 and 12.2 and then finally ran a respectable time of 10.6 Im still the only RH9 car Croydon racing has ever produced (well i built the car, and they did the engine and tuning) Id really like to have a drive it runs a hollinger seqential and ran slicks to achieve the 10.6, so even if it did run a 9 it still would not be classified RH9 as you have to run on radials. I prefer to run the numbers before i even entertain the thought of talking up the times...but to each their own i suppose.
  3. i generally drop the oil and filter after a few hrs or 100klm.
  4. cool...all set then hey
  5. Penrite make a good "run in" oil...hang on ill do a search EDIT: here ya go... http://www.penrite.com.au/html/s02_article...p;nav_top_id=55 Valvoline make one too...but i just use a mineral based Valvoline with no friction modifier.
  6. your more than welcome to have us look after it for you ali... doubt Ben would have been responsible for what has occurred. I hold him and his business (RacePace) in the highest regard.
  7. i have "the list"...the parts cost $1300 trade. they have gone up over $600 since i did mine...ouch these boxes are not as cheap as a lot of people assume. budget for $7000+ if you dont already have a 2nd hand gearbox and over $6000+ if you do.
  8. got ours down to 1360kg.... as shown recently in HPI car retains all front trims including carpet, headlining and even sunvisors. Both doors are as per factory items including mega weight in door intrusion bars. Only really deleted heater box, air con system, hicas system and ABS. Only body deadner inside from b pillar rearward removed and none under car has been stripped (yet). so sub 1300kg may be achieveable. Also...that cage looks very close to what Gibson Motorsport ran in their cars.
  9. i do beg your pardon...i may be dirt...but im not cheap
  10. an update for those interested The V44 release date is June 9th. The V88 release date is 3 weeks later. The website is nearly ready to be put up and looks good. V88 with harness, USB cable, air temp and water temp : List price $2200 inc gst V44 : List price $1540 inc gst Anti lag option : $90 E throttle : $270 (V88 only) Data log 4mb on board : $90 These prices are not confirmed yet and may be even less when it is released. The V44 is a bargain option for 4 cyl engines. The V88 system runs 2 * 34 pin connectors (Same type as M800 motec). The V44 uses 1 * 34 pin connector and shares the same pinout as plug A in the V88. Very good for upgrading. Also the V44 based plug and play systems will be significantly cheaper than the existing Autronic systems.

  13. depends on a lot of varibles so i dont think a general rule applies. At my home track im generally faster earlier but away its the later sessions that reap the fast times. The weather plays a role too, in summer generally the faster times are early and in winter its later.
