  1. our entries in... open class too!
  2. stepping it up...the car will go 9.7's with current set-up but whats the point only going a little bit faster. when you can go a lot faster
  3. that didn't happen...you must have been seeing things
  4. don't know that one...but it shows 100% throttle opening for the entire pass. Not one hint of back off in the run. His wife was less than impressed when she viewed the video.
  5. still for sale and includes BRAND NEW HKS balance pipe manifolds. These completely eliminate turbo shuffle on a street car.
  6. yes...custom tank out of ally can be made. Ive mounted mine on the radiator support panel just behind the passenger headlight.
  7. it got a lot hairy at the 330' mark all the way to the finish line
  8. Nice vid...except for the wanker yelling yes..yes at the end...hehe cropped it a bit too much though, as the burnout was awesome. well done mate
  9. Charlie is lurking in the shadows...
  10. love the sig. Ben...well done. but...on the 8.07 run you took off so quick down the track you forgot to wait for the rope man. If only you could get your vechicle to take off that quick when you are driving on the other side of the wall.
  11. can you please ring him and thank him, as if it wasnt for him agreeing to the lane swap the 8.0 would not have happened. I was doing 2rismo stlye organising behind the staging lanes as the official behind the tower would not allow us into the lane we wanted.
  12. from the other thread... News on our car... Got diff in and running friday....put Autronic in and had a few problems getting it running. Finally got it sorted late Saturday afternoon and tuned. The ATTESSA ecu was not recieving the correct signals from the Autronic to run the 4WD. We tried bridging over a TPS signal and lost the bloody tune!! The Autronic went bonkers and took an hour to recover it. Mark retuned the car in about an hour and by midnight had it running and making good power. We again got out the wiring diagrams and found that the earlier bridge we ran was on the wrong pin...bugger. Got the TPS signal to the ATTESSA and the 4WD came alive. However the output was making the TPS ecu input unstable and we decided at 2.30am to pack it up and concentrate our efforts on Marks car. Deciding that running the car while not 100% was not worth risking the chance of damaging it...so yes with only a few hours sleep that night we rocked up and set a new Aussie GTR record.
  13. its currently doing deliveries in the sydney metro area proudly displaying its Godzilla Motorsport livery. News on our car... 14. they ran a 10.6 @ 146 to finish up. shows the car will do a 9 with a better driver and set up. i just would have liked to have seen it run on radials. I even offered them the use of our tyres and rims.
  15. and a 3.3 to the 330 was big too. Unfortunately the track past the 330 was lacking as it was from this point onwards the car was out of shape. Spinning the rears in top gear to 170MPH and no lift off from throttle when we checked the MoTeC data...i don't know if that was brave or silly...but it was worth it. Big thanks from all the GMS crew to Benm for supplying and operating the recovery vehicle for us all day.
  16. yes....ran 11.4 12.6 and 10.6 on slicks should have ran it on radials first to get the car and the driver sorted.
  17. right...the silver cars diff is in and running...the ecu is in and not running. the black car is ready but may need to lend the silver one some bits... up bright and early big day ahead... Bracket racing..hehe..a few experienced boys at my last bracket meet were put on the trailer early by a novice in a pretty little silver riceburner.
  18. no beef...Gary and i sometimes don't see eye to eye (im 6'2" and he's a midget ) but... if everyone was all love all the time the world would be a little boring.
  19. This is an N1 pump out of another 20K engine im currently doing a freshen up on...notice how the pump is only worn on 1 side of the drive face. and this engine was a built one that regularly saw 8000rpm and produced over 350KW at the tyres
  20. my question is...if a N1 engine only had 20 000klm on it...and it was looked after...why was it pulled down? abuse perhaps?
  21. Its never been the DiRTgarage way to give up or give in....and its not about to start! got to run diff centre again to Sydney today to be modified (should have left parts there last night when i went down)...then back to Newcastle this arvo to install it tonight. then tuning tomm and racing sunday
  22. still no diff...drove all the way to sydney and back last night to pick a new centre up...only for it to be the wrong one this is what it looks like at the moment...
  23. clearly...look at both the drive and trailing face of the pump...both very worn. N1 pumps are not indestructable....no mechanical part is.
