blocks been acid tanked, crack tested, decked, bored and honed. Crank collar was machined on today and journals polished. Head has been stripped late this afternoon.
Yeah the R32 ecu's EPROM can be removed from the board and a socket mount soldered in. You can then plug the Nissan emulator into the socket and tune then re-burn the EPROM. The R33 EPROM is unable to be removed from the main board so is not suitable for this modification.
Mark Jacobsen, he sees many cars from reputed QLD workshops and finally puts them right.

He owns, builds and tunes Australia's fastest GTR
an oportunity like this is one worth taking advantage of. Dont pay around $1000 for a proper Power FC tune in Sydney. Need a few more cars to make it economical for Mark to come down. Mark has Australia's fastest GTR and has shown to be one of the most reliable GTR's at the track.
If you have the HPI GTR special no.1 its on the cover as i bought it...bog stock. It was also the car used as the test car in the "buying used R32 GTR" section in HPI in the early days of the magazine
yes...i still run the oil filter relocator...ive just removed the thermoblock and cooler core from the circuit as its not required for drag. Getting the oil up to temp in the pits before a run was fouling my plugs.
I used to have mine mounted behind intercooler and in front of radiator...a big no no!
now i simply have it mounted in a box up on a high shelf at the workshop with other assorted nick-naks.
ahh yes...so it is. One forum to trawl is plenty for me.
thats the idea...race smart...i prefer to run against the faster cars as i can run flat out all day than trying to play chess with the dial in crap. But with a new dogbox and a shitload of nitrous i wont be giving too much of a headstart
ill send Matt your number..ok
I chose an NPC item due to the fact Mark Jacobsen has had great success with them and Croydon's always treated my choice of single plate with dismay. So i thought id try the NPC item as im producing over 900hp at the flywheel and simply thought that was beyond what a Jim Berry single plate (as good as they may be) could handle. Also looking to soon turn the NOS on in the car pushing that flywheel power figure in excess of 1000hp.
Never modified any of the clutch parts from STD factory issue (clutch cylinders, brackets etc)
