  1. you can fit an RB20 adapter it does away with the need for coolant lines etc then screw you oil cooler adapter to that
  2. I think an open letter to the Minister for Sport and Education and also a copy sent to the Roads Minister may be required. This facility's use is being governed by a management who seem to want to restrict the amount of use by road registered vehicles. When the funding for this facility was granted by the Carr government (Morris Iemma was the minister involved at the time) one of the statements made was that it will take the racing off the streets and put it on the track where it should be. They want the police to "crack down" in illegal street racing, but they make the facility that will cater for this, out of reach of the common people (big $$ race teams never have issues with hiring the track).
  3. did anybody see me out and about on Saturday? 9 sec GTR racecar cruising the streets of Newcastle...lol BTW its Croudace Bay
  4. over a second too fast now...9.9's now and about 2-3 tenths left in it at current power. Will be racing again May 18th at Compak Attak...would love some support from you SAU guys again. GTR 700 will be racing as well...aiming for a 7 sec. pass.
  5. Its a bid sad i have to leave a car like ours at home and not put on a show for you guys at these private track hire days.
  6. got a pair of 260deg 9.15mm cams here...brand new
  7. Yesterday at Willowbank Raceway Mark Jacobsen piloted the R32 further into the record books with a 8.271 @ 171 MPH to set a new record, narrowly beat the old Croydon Racing mark of 8.273. The pass was done "off the trailer" at the meet and he tells me that with further suspension improvements and a little more power the car should be capable of a high 7 sec pass. congrats to Mark and his team for the awesome result.
  8. 6 down...4 to go
  9. no need to remove the head to do big ends...but yes engine out.
  10. single turbo's and gts-t's are both ghey mods please close thread
  11. Must be a stack of these around...blocks cracked around the 3-4 cylinder near oil feed are the ones im looking for. Blocks with head stud damage or cracks not suitable.

  14. apoligies Ash, close thread if you feel the need or if ive upset any of your traders. I contribute to this forum more than any traders do...they just flog their wares here. yes i know the rules and apoligies if broken any. As soon as we are up and running i will register as a trader here. other people have been building engines for people on here (sydneykid for example) and not become a trader either. thanks
  15. simple answer....no mostly going to concentrate on quick change-over street based products. We are aiming to have a least 1 built 25 and 26 forged street engine ready to instal for a 1 week pickup and delivery (we have a tilt tray towtruck) of cars. Cars delivered back running and ready to run-in, we believe we are the only ones in Australia that will be offering that kind of turnaround. The period of time cars are off the road awaiting engine build is a bit of a joke, and better service in this area is what we are aiming for. Twoogle's engine was a $20 000k+ job which is very detailed, time consuming and the headwork was done out-of-house and took forever, not willing to put our customers through the agonising wait for such work. Will be building plenty of 400kw 10 sec engines though.
  16. not any more...hehe
  17. I have a SARD battery box in our racecar...boot mounted, very secure, vented etc. will take a pic next time i see the car. I use the spare tyre mount for the earth and ran new + cable up to front bar mounted cutoff switch.
  18. fixed price mate...none of this bullsh1t mega dollar shock bill at the end of the build. But parts up front fee will apply, pretty fair i think. Will also have pre-assembled change-over long engine packages for stock/mild engines to save vehicle down time.
  19. Separate to croydon...they are in Sydney...im in Newcastle.
  20. but roads are sh1t...i say Salamander Shores at Soldiers Point...good roads...great spot...good local cops.
  21. All RB's and CA's at the moment...about to do a tough 25 and 2 x 26's
  22. not my car, one of my friends. I do most of my own work/engines. Except our latest engine which was exceptionally built by Croydon racing.
  23. the bad ones are shocking, the good ones take too long and smash holes in your wallet. Not a new venture...just restarting an old one.
