  3. Its truely mental...and i thought our torque curve was fat and flat. Its the ultimate circuit/street engine set-up. The linear power delivery would ensure a well balanced car coming onto the power through the twisties. Again Ben...job well done mate. Tomm0...run in tune with BP98 as stated. OFENSV, was done in 3rd to stop turbo shuffle, actually made another 10KW the night before at CRD in 4th gear. Jim just knows how to ramp it properly in 4th to stop it, old mate at Autosalon is not as experienced as Jim...hence 3rd gear. now back to chatting about this bloody torque monster. EDIT: Ben, any chance of getting a torque printout in a better scale...say 5000-15000N (motive force) or a 100-1300NM (torque).
  4. Screenshot?? quite easy to compare dyno graphs if the dyno's are operated correctly. Between Croydon's Dyno Dynamics and Autosalon's Mainline we usually only see a couple of KW's difference, but thats a topic for another thread.
  5. Well done Ben...top stuff. Very similar to our 20psi BP98 run at Autosalon Newcastle. You have better down low (i suspect my GT-RS turbo's might be a little laggier than what you have fitted), mines a bit harder midrange but with the same top-end. Good comparo as yours is not finally tuned, ours was ran-in the day before and still with a very safe tune. If someone would like to re-plot our graph over Bens so its easier to look at feel free. GO THE LOW-MOUNTS!!
  6. Be careful when jacking car up to fit front tyres that you dont tighten the wheel nuts up while car is in the air. Locks the front diff up and can result in a car spearing left on 1st launch, and a very dirty racesuit.
  7. i agree...but in a wide open throttle drag car on a transbrake i don't think it would really affect performance.

  21. sorry Gary, couldn't help myself. I could do with a titanium system too but my body needs to lose 10kg more than my car does.
  22. not the best kit for a drag car. Heat treatments style is the way to go, nice rounded front end side skirts removed and rear bar trimmed to boot level. Do-luck is too square and will produce more aerodynamic drag than a std body GTR.
