  1. they have a typhoon in sydney with "000 Race Team" sticker across rear window. Looks like a rip off of the "888 race team" I think its very wrong for a govt. dept. to have such a thing on a tax payer funded vehicle.

  5. chassis rail my friend...a lot less flex. An inner wheel arch is a single layer of thin sheet metal. Ive also see 1st hand how easily an inner wheel arch folds up in a crash.

The Sport Compact National Championship starts next month...Anybody want to be an Australian Champion? This car has the ability to win as it is ultra consistent..$65 000 to be an Aussie champ and still have a road car to drive at the end of the season. If no-one buys it before the Sydney round im going to compete and steal some championship points off someone who will want them more than I do....hehehe
  9. That cage is bolted to the inner wheel arch!! and can also come into contact with the head in a crash!!! Your engineer is a very brave man (or stupid)

  14. unless your going for mega power GTR rods will be fine...lived quite well in our racecar for three seasons making 450+AWKW. Ive got a prepped set here on the shelf for less than 1/2 that price (cryo treated, shotpeened etc). Ive never heard of a stock GTR rod failing because of its lack of strength.
  15. The Red Emperor at Southbank is the best Chinese restaurant ive ever been to (and i love my Chinese) It has been awarded 2 hats..yes not one but 2 hats. That sort of reputation speaks for itself. The service we recieved was second to none (we had the matre'd look after us as we ordered a fairly expensive bottle of wine before dinner).

  17. even then ya would'nt go high mounts or big single unless your looking for lots of lag and sub 9 sec times. GTR's were designed for low mounts and perform better in most areas if left that way.
