  1. mint 20k gtr's do not exist.. and theres nothing wrong with '89 gtrs. Its still an R32 and is no different to the 1990 etc so whats the fuss? Obviously there is a large amount of 89's because everyone was told 15yo rule was ending so people went nuts. There are some really good ones out there.
  2. 1. a yellow cordia - crap 2. cordia turbo - crap 3. cordia turbo with 2L dash motor - crap 4. cortina - crap but fun 5. ae86 4age sprinter 6. ae86 4agte sprinter 250rwhp - very fun 7. 89 r32 gtr kind of a toss up for me, i liked my 4agte ae86 alot, quick and handled so well, the gtr doesnt handle as well due to its weight but pulls like a train
  3. Hey dude, not trying to steal your sale Pimpin32 but if youd rather sell them than swap i would consider swapping with you J_R32. Im in perth too and have the non projector lights on my car in excellent cond if you wanna try?
  4. im shit but best i can do for ya ! pwoiple and black
  5. yeah swap no1's coil pack into number 2 and see if number 2 is still missing etc if number 1 starts missing you obviously know its the coilpack
  6. yes they do.. Either this car chose no ABS option or was removed I thought it was standard equipment but i guess not. looks nice but
  7. passenger side air con vent!
  8. yeah they all seem to be doing it including mine, havnt had a look at adjusting the guides but will try. Part number would be good if someone could find one
  9. Yeh when going straight no clunking should happen.. Mine did last week (stock gtr diff) and it got worse so we pulled it out and some bearing failed and has caused the crown and pinion to loose teeth and stuff.. Not good!
  10. i have the xtreme 9 puk version, its not THAT heavy and drives very nice (espec compared to the triple plate i had) however after doing a couple launches (gtr) it doesnt seem to fully grip as best as id like it to - as in it slips or cant take the load well.. The triple plate was amazing but undrivable as a daily
  11. if there is oil in the radiator thats not good at all im sorry to me it does sound like head gasket but before we make any conclusions wait for others opinions. Has the radiator fluid started to go milky?
  12. Indeed problems do arise, and im not shouting all over the place - i paid and got my car. I did not know of any 3rd party inspections that were available so that was unfortunate. Turbo replacement reason, because the vehicle was my property now = my problem, however they did not charge for the cost of the turbos so yes, it could have been worse.
  13. I also have had a rough time through the same broker and supplier (i know gtr90 personally) and I also think somehting isnt right. My car was advertised as 'perfect mechanical condition and very fast' etc etc, I purchased the car on the basis of that report and photos (theres not much else to go by) and after the money was transfered i received a parcel in the post with some intercooler pipes. I emailed the broker and he stated that i had to pay for the cost of the parcel to be sent to me and some of the labour involved FOR REPLACING THE TURBOS ? I had no choice but to pay the money of course as he stated he would not release the vehicle and Bill of lading until it was paid. Firstly, the report indicated the vehicle was mechanically perfect, and the car had some supporting modifications that leads me to suspect the car has some aftermarket turbos on her - which were removed and replaced with stock items. (e.g 550cc injectors, hks cams, impul ecu, exhaust, ebc etc etc) Secondly, I had to pay for postage for a set of aftermarket intercooler pipes which were removed from the car and replaced with stock items. The package was $190 itself - I was totally unaware of this and of course had to pay it. Anyways not much i can do, just stating my experience with importing. After a 8 months wait of missing boats and what not, i also got smacked with anotehr fee for storage of $219 for when the vehicle was elgiable to be imported and was stuck at the dock. Anyways - happy importing guys, there is a risk and should be considered, i wont be doing it again!
  14. Im not a fan of AVCR's myself but i know people with them and they work ok once set up properly. I myself have had both a Profec A and B and they are both great and excellent value for the price without the wanky blue screen.
  15. My diff has dropped a bearing and smashed stuff to peices Can get it fixed but if anyone has one 2nd hand let me know.. Stock or aftermarket - let me know and what price your after In Perth but will pay for shipping Cheers
  16. Hey, i dont know exactly whats removed/mapped either, i just know i havnt hit rev cut yet and theres probably no speed cut (300km/h speedo) As i said, i have hks cams and n1 turbos and the car had an ebc when it came so im assuming it was running around 1 bar.. I was going to chuck it on a dyno this week to check mixtures but the diff died the other day so i cant help
  17. i just got my 32gtr licenced and i HAD to get a permit for my apexi pods and fmic (even tho it was stock?). It does save my ass later i guess and a permit is only 30 bucks and can put as much as you want on there (as long as they pass it)
  18. I have the same ecu and its great (upgrading to pfc later also though) Runs everything perfect (have hks cams and n1 turbos etc) Good luck with the sale
  19. I have to admit that is quite true
  20. good stuff dude thanks for that heaps better!
