UPDATE: I am taking the car to mechanic tomorrow. But today I drove and not a single stall. I did keep the RPM under 2000 though... actually last time it started stalling after I gave it some... so can anyone precisely say what could be causing the stalling after boosting it??

Stock bov. Anyway I will drop of my car this week at mechanics as its under warranty. If there is a crack or leak somewhere, how much will it cost to fix? Im asking cos the warranty has conditions for eg: $350 for fuel pump and fuel system. $750 for electrical problems. $750 for cooling. $350 for computer and electrical sensors and so on. Should this type of cover smooth it out?

Having attached the hose to the carbon canister the car was fine... for a short time. Now the car sometimes stalls upon acceleration, i give it some and then the car just stalls... also spluttered today upon acceleration after I turned it back on. There is also destinctive sulpher smell after the car stalls. I have checked the following: Coil packs are clean and silver on the inside, all 6 of them. Installed iridium NGK spark plugs 2 weeks ago. Checked AFM and its clean on the inside (didnt check the electric internals though) Fuel filter is also OK. I am really desperate to get my car fixed as its starting to put me off the whole import scene and Im starting to curse the day I bought my first skyline... its probably a small problem but I have exhausted all my options... Im even willing to take it to Nissan dealer and have them hook it up to a machine to see of any error codes. The only problem is Im not made of money and on a tight budget atm. Can someone plz advice me what else could be causing the stalling and spluttering of the car as I have NFI. Cheers!

Stock air box, stock BOV etc. PPS theres also a smell of petrol when I start the car, the smell lasts for a few seconds, this came up only after inspecting the fuel filter... but the hoses seem to be intact. I heard different. R33 GTST is meant to be quicker than R32...

The mustache guy at power rd is good in a way hes not pushy and lets you drive any car u want. we once took the car i was interested in, it had zero petrol really, so we chucked 4 bucks of PULP in it and floored it a bit... didnt like certain aspects about the body so didnt buy it. I got my car at SSV, good place, decent cars. The warranty is bit dodgy though as i really lost my faith in it after the BOV incident. I wouldnt recommend shelling out on the warranty...

I saw that car being cleaned and worked on last week at SSV when I brought in my skyline for a check up. Actually it was at SSV for a while, the best car there by far! Enjoy!

Id save your money and keep the stock. The amount of hassles and $$ youll go through dealing with an aftermarket BOV especially if your car is stock is silly.

Ive got em. Havent installed yet as Im getting my bro to do it but he said theres no electrical connectors diagram and Chinese translated to English manuals are rubbish... but hes gonna try it out anyway.

Yes they have some type of oil to grease them... I plan on just going mainly for a big cruise, no drifting or heavy cornering, well maybe a few times here and there but no track work. I might just wait and see if my mechanic can do it... cheers.

My car has a busted radius rod bush and Im going for a fairly big drive this long weekend, should I be ok or should I fix it before driving? I always thought bushes were no big deal? I have the part already but dunno how much a mechanic will charge as I have a mechanic who can do it for free just dont know when yet.

Dont know if this is of any help but check ALL your hoses. My car was stalling for a while and I was gobsmacked... I checked fuel filter, changed spark plugs and checked coils coils, checked AFM...then we spotted a hose was off the carbon canister which vacums air inside... its all good now.

I forgot to add backfire... Anyway I was crazy for atmo BOVs etc... until I saw the havoc it was causing with my car... maybe I am harsh but for the money I wasted on buying/installing/removing the BOV... would I ever do it again? no thanks!

BOV = POS. Waste of money. Run stock and save hassles with stalling and fuel. If you want your car to make sounds then fit a pod...

I have a mechanic who could do it... 160 for pair or for one side only? also would it be best to replace both sides or just the one faulty? thanks! Also is this covered by warranty? I have warranty on the car...

To my shock today I discovered an oil leak in my R33. The oil is leaking out at front right side of the car... next to the front wheel where the stabiliser bar is. is this serious??? Its clear colour oil... not yellow or brown. Its also thickish not thin like usual car oil. Any help?
