  1. I'll just be over here with my shitbox that currently runs a Nistune and my new engine which will just be a Haltech because that's what my tuner uses. Had no issues with the old plug and play in the 34, but wasn't exactly doing anything wild with it. The I/O expander and WB1 boxes all just sat out of way underthe dash, never gave it any thought. Come to think of it, in all the forums and groups I'm in, only SAU seems to hate Haltech, but I that might be more that I'm in all the pleb groups and not ballers ones lol
  2. Doesn't have to be pretty. Just make it strong and let a flap disc sort the rest
  3. Incoming comment about how Dose could've had a BMW by now...
  4. Yeah OK, wonder if the next Z will get VR30DETT like the Inifniti Red Sport or similar? Dont need 4 seats, don'texpect I'll do heaps of K's so service not an issue - depreciation will cost way more. Pipe dream at the moment, need my shed done and the road up to my property sealed at minimum.
  5. TLDR hard or not hard? Do you really want another turbo Nissan? Part of the appeal of a 370 weekender is that it's NA and hopefully less shit to go wrong. Says the man whoi looks at 435/M4 and the equivalent 5 series cars also...
  6. Sweet, onboard video of accelerating and some noise needed.
  7. To me it's just a white 370 with some red bits? I don't know enough about 370s to pick it from a side shot. No, didn't review his profile card thingo either. But now I know that Rob is a big time baller spending large on Nismo spec stuff. I'll just be over here with my cheapo Silvia being a bum
  8. Did I miss that Rob bought the Nismo edition and I've been talking about regular pleb spc this whole time...
  9. Is that a nismo spc or something? I thought a standard 370 was like 245kw at the fly? 245 at the fly plus what, like 30kw for a full exhaust, intake and a tune? I guess that could yield 240rwkw if it's only losing 10-12% through the drivetrain. I think Rob needs to do all the mods and tell us how it goes
  10. I'v looked at those as a cheap weekender a few times, keen to hear what you think of it. Man/Auto? I see around the interwebs people are able to get 230-240rwkw+ out of them, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around 240rwkw from an NA v6 with exhaust/intake and a tune.
  11. Probably not far over, if at all or ever but it made sense to me to future proof it while it was being done. I wanted something reliable so my concept was build it for like 500+ or something and I could maybe expect it to last a bit at 80 or so % of its capabilities as I wanna be able to rack up some laps. Made sense in my head
  12. I dunno what that is, but purple makes me think Mazworx and I admit I did buy Mazworx headstuds lol Which are just proper length as I understand it. I might also have a billet girdle...
  13. So much hate lol I think I'll be keeping my bottom end spec list to myself...
  14. I'd agree with that. I did season with our club on them, New at the start. By the end I had the pressures worked out but you really did end up getting a 1-2 lap window, max, where you could go for a PB. They were OK otherwise, but that comment about being on ice is very accurate when they are outside the temp window. I won't buy another set, I'll go to slicks.
  15. Time to place your bets then. RWKW 260 290 310 330 350 Or Spun Bearing Rod/Piston Failure Headgasket Car caught fire due to lack of grommet on bulkhead ?
