  1. All specs legit except pulley lol But Bakemono is forever so it's here too. Nfi about fuel system, or box, or brakes, or rims, or cage upgrade or or or or or f**k.
  2. My 80 series could barely maintain 80km/h up a slight incline with nothing on the back.. Prado is marginally better but I'm not looking forward to towing with it, but I'd rather rev it harder than own a dirty diesel. Petrol for lyfe.

  5. There is some custom Space-X in the bottom that I am not allowed to share pics of. Head also has the mazworks headstuds because they bottom out properly (Fairly sure they are just Golf head studs with the right length) and got an expensive as f**k Cosworth headgasket. Re the bottom - apparently Nismo provided DM with the technical specs of the SR that was in the JGTC car he had which included some changes to the bottom end for longevity that DM now uses on his builds (if you pay the iron price). I'm sure any competent builder is already aware/does it/wont do it because it's gay or whatever, but he asked me not to share pics so I wont. He told me about the changes and showed me how it all works and I said "Yes, give me the stage 1 e-fame package plz". So I am expecting bulk likes and plenty of Grinder invites. You guys already know I bought those Nitto I beams, CA625 rod bolt upgrade, CP pistons, Plazmaman girdle, ATI balancer, all the ARP bolts etc. Using new OEM VE oil pump and an aeroflow big boi sump but I'm also looking at a dry sump kit he has because scope creep is f**king insane.

Oh I get that, some people are upset because my side steps are dented and I've added scratches to what was a fairly neat low k's Prado, but in the end it's just a car and I wanted to go exploring and learning. That said, you seem to be going a step further and actively trying to break it lol Broken from usage and broken from rape is different

  10. lol probably not. Hard to know how it stacks up against a Naprec DET head, but it's titanium retainers, Kelford beehive springs, hks gears, ported, supertech IN and EX valves (standard dia, just stronger/lighter). P12 head, but with P11 valve stem sizes as they are stronger, oh and Kelford cams but still retaining VVL. Should go "ok", I hope so coz it cost a few bucks.

  12. Time to upgrade daily to 21st century. Accidentally received 2 cameras so will see how it compares to the factory rear and if it's better see if it can be retrofitted in its place. The other is for front cam. Ordered shed kit, will see it late Sep, ended up going for 10x14x3.6 for 4.5m under the pitch and hoist life. Will make Silvia build and just general service work so much easier. Finding a contractor to help me assemble has been a challenge, they all have various "wants". Will only build a shed kit they supply, will only build a shed on a slab they pour etc, working my way through that. Engine builder back on to engine building now, but all I've seen is a pic of my clean rockers and other peoples long blocks being buttoned up. Mine is next.

  14. He's working on the head. I just sent an intake gasket up so he could finish porting etc I got a pic of some cleaned rockers the other day, apparently 3 goes at getting them clean lol Prado is getting a new head unit and I just paid for my shed kit so I'll see that in 10-12wks and then I can get a start on building it and getting a hoist finally.

  17. Nah, missing the point. Dropping off 50Nm in the last 1500rpm isn't going to "save" the engine, given the piston speeds at those res anyway. If you want safety you want to reduce peak torque in the mid rang and how savagely it makes it, that's what destroys the bottom ends and boxes in them. Ask Evo owners. That's all I'm saying - I also do not know exactly what the torque limits of a stock bottom are, but I'd be thinking 450Nm rear wheel would have to be nudging it and I'd cringing a little each time I got up it waiting for the either the rod bolts or the ring lands to fail - but I am a sensitive Susan who always assumes the worst. Anyway, I hope it lasts many roll racing events and wins all the kebabs and Brazilian honeys hearts.
  18. Still making power to 8k is no standard SR20 head, that should be obvious surely? So long as it does it consistently of course. Benji; Dropping 50Nm over 1500rpm ain't gonna help a heap at those piston speeds I wouldn't have thought? No boost on graph? What's the timing curve like? Did you end up putting in a turbine wheel speed sensor?
