  1. box will be your weakest link, everything else will hold up just fine. Tho wehen you start pushing 300 rwkw's and take it to the strip you might find you'll start snapping half shafts with slicks.
  2. it has crossed my mind... is there room in front of an Rb in a skyline to do it tho?
  3. Nismoid: numbers will come next track day which is jan the 6th.... if its hot we'll know for sure... Toff: FF plenum is a difficult one... theres loads of designs out there that are no better then stock... and at the end of the day its a fair wack of money just to reducre some pipe work. we'll see but i dont think its the solution here. vents to come tho!
  4. best not to have a power figurre in mind, just pump boost it to it and see what you get. Coming along nicely now! Glad you decided to go with AM Performance for the dump.. his work is stunning!!!
  5. if you read, you'd see that i already have one set up.
  6. i do this anyway, but makes no diff as theres still stacks of heat under the bonnet there
  7. what about 254 8.5 mm cams on a 25... im looking at this atm to gain a bit in the midrange torque wise... also maybe make the same if not little more peak power on less PSI... possible?
  8. All very valid points mate, I think ill start with the basic stuff and work with what i have, then go from there. Cheers Simon
  9. Hey mate Im in Adelaide SA, would you consider sending interstate? Also would you sell minus rubber for less? Cheers Simon
  10. I need 4 or 6 S15 SR20det Injectors PM me, will pay decent money if they are in good cond. Cheers Simon
  11. As the topic says i need a pair of cams from a GTR from a 32 or 33, Will pay postage to me in SA. PM me please. Cheers Simon
  12. already have that kind of system in place (Water sprayers) and yeah it works well. but i cant be on the sprayers all the time. But hey, if people think i should stick with the core i have now... then i'll do it lol. im just after idea's
  13. wheres the unnecessary risk? everyone says its highly dangerous to run injectors over 80% duty but without any real proof. Sure the math's and reasoning says otherwise but in the realworld... theres no real reason why you couldnt push it harder.
  14. well thats just it, i dont mind paying for a decent cooler... i only want to do it once... Since its a drift car accidents can happen. while i havent destroyed a cooler yet i have seen many busted ones in the last drift event. So i dont really want to outlay 1K+ on something i might bust. So im looking middle ground really.. something better then the china core i have now
  15. Hey guys Letting you all know theres drift prac on jan the 6th at lala. See ya all there! Simon
  16. Ive got a decent amount of power in my track drift car and it sees some hefty track workouts for an extended period of time sometimes, along with a lot of waiting around. Now i currently have a crappy monsta performance generic china core with cooler pipe set up to suit R32 etc. Now it gets pretty warm overall after a few hard runs... and the sitting around in the line up without airflowing through it really makes it feel dull off the line rather then if im doing continuous laps.. So i was thinking about upgrading the core.. What should i look at getting which would do a better job of flowing and cooling?
  17. my car is a drift car, it gets more thrashed then your car i can tell you right now.. My tuner is one hell of a awesome tuner and the whole combo is safe as anything. the fact that 40 + dyno runs back to back during 4-5 hours in 38 degree temps in the dyno room, all with safe AFR's and not a hint of detonation... yeah its a grenade
  18. Selling a pair of Hub centric H& R wheel spacers which are made in germany, as new cond and new wheel studs supplied. They are slip on design (you need to install the longer studs) but are hubcentric so they are as strong as anything. After $80 for the pair (RRP is way more then this)
  19. i'd believe it, again a RR FPR would have to be used, the fact i made 283 and still had plenty of headroom left means that making near 300 wouldnt be out of the question. I made 220rwkw on stock RB20 injectors when i had a 20 and huddy on this forum made 230 rwkw, both were with stock FPR.
  20. theres always one isnt there. its not a happy dyno, in fact its the most accurate dyno in SA. and the injectors are 100% stock. Have a read of what i wrote, a Malpassi rising rate was used. if stock pressures were used i doubt i would have made the power i did. However i decided to use the RR FPR, then retune all the idle and cruise/down low mixtures to stop overfuelling. the RR FPR isnt running massive pressure in the rail either.. its only something like 10% more then stock
  21. heres my results... call BS if you like but the power was made on a KNOWN reptuable dyno, and a malpassi rising rate was used. I made 283 rwkw on 20 psi with stock injectors. Rb25 with 3071R, bosch motorsport pump, cooler, AM performance exhaust and dump. and the AFR's were still in the 12's, there was still headroom left 283 also. I run 16-17 psi now to keep it safe as its a drift car, makes 265 rwkw, still stock injectors.. perfect mixtues and gets well thrashed on the track.
  22. SOLD
