  1. oil level might have been low. for all RB's it pays to overfill the sump by half a liter.. cant go wrong with that. same with fuel in the tank. make sure its over half and there wont be any issues. as for whats needed.. just an LSD that works.
  2. this is from 2 hours ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UULKExSNK-I

  6. fwiw with my set up running poncams and 3076 we raised the turnoff point by 500 rpm to 5500 for the best results.
  7. yeah its more or less the exact same set up mate. RPM switching points are different tho.. about 5000 is the changeover point. due to different cam specs.
  8. Ring garage 7 they can get you a koyo rad. Forgetthe china rads. Useless
  9. and another thats only just popped up.. check out 3:39 for epic footage it wont embed!
  10. Could also be a ex manifold leak. Oil analysis for sure to confirm bearing wear.
  11. you will never fit standard lines on anything other a high flow. you'll most likely need a spacer also mate. As for the boost control issues that would depend on if your using the internal wastegate rear housing and what dump pipe you use.
  12. you in adelaide rolls? i never knew.. if you need a hand with anything or wiring related hit me up. nuts from MTQ.. pretty cheap! got my WTA confirmation! http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index.php/south-australian-g1-champion-simon-michelmore-confirmed-for-tectaloy-drift/
  13. paid 1500 for the neo...was mising the turbo but everything else there. not bad for a cheap motor! these nuts are so much eaiser to put on... they go like a nylok nut.. so single use item only really.
  14. nah these arent the off centred ones.. they have a slit at the top or crown of the nut and as you tighten them up then deform and lock into the thread... and yeah everyone should beusing them but i havent been :S as for dyno will be another week away... got heaps of shit i need to do to the car before its down back on the ground. for now.. heres some things to check out. 20. i think GTR's are 11mm and neo's are 14mm... you'd need a collar or something
  21. yeah still need some restriction. my 25 hated life with no thermostat
  22. would u drift with no thermostat tho nathan?
  23. if there is a fault in the cooling system it wont matter if its water, coolant or concentrate in there.. it will still over heat. water will have a higher boiling point the higher the pressure is in the system. having coolant in there will raise that by a few degrees if that. as for water pump.. if you read further up he said he's been tracking it for ages and this has only recently become a problem. besides theres plenty of other RB20's that get tracked and thrashed at high RPM with no issue.. the pump is not the fault here.
  24. lol you have no idea.
