  1. sounds like it was built a bit looser then it probably should have been.
  2. there is an internal gated housing and will allow you to bolt up in the low mount position however you will need a new dump pipe. forget about fitting it in an OP6 rear housing also.
  3. still more in it steve lol. luke: yeah i know i had a list of ppl who missed out... and yeah for sure come for a ride!
  4. damaged ego perhaps i'll chuck up some footage soon haha
  5. i have u on go pro giggling like a school girl... hahaha so is that some respect from the grip guys towards the serious drifters then?????
  6. yes. before starting any dyno runs its calibrated to the diff ratio that you have. meaning even if you dont know what ratio you have it will still work it out for you. all tables are shifted accordingly then.
  7. was a true bolt on swap, boost control lines not touched. i run a tial 44mm extrernal gate. and yeah when time permits we might try putting a degree of timing in around the midrange to help it. let me just say this tho... with a super responsive set up and such a large wack of torque in the midrange. traction is very difficult. i believe for circuit stuff you wouldnt want this type of arrangement. you'd want to opt for a larger rear and lazier ramp to prevent wheelspin.
  8. yeah thats it... keep upping it by 1 psi each run until you start not making as much power thats where you'll be nearing the end of its range
  9. its a matter of who you know and how many mates you have into cars. i quite often see 20's cheap as shit
  10. i'd be stoked if a 3071 could flow that much power at that much boost.. has anyone done any testing on one at 25+ psi?
  11. i can assure you there's no trickery with the ramp rates. i have nothing to gain/lose by doing this comparison. i wasnt being paid to do it. and did it out of my own interest/pocket. the results are clear as day and the on road feeling confirms the difference. true test shall be tomorrow at mallala tho
  12. Same rampload. Feels crazy on the road feels like so much more midrange and Coles on earlier then before
  13. All the wires needed to hot-wire the car are at the back of the tt unit.
  14. why do you need a turbo timer? they are illegal and pointless... not to mention they make your car easier to steal.
  15. yeah the main reason why i did it was to gain more response... not to gain more peak power because honestly for what i need it for (drift) anything over 300 rwkw is excessive. the rest of the info is for you SAU'ers to debate over.
  16. believe it or not i used to be one of those guys who was a regular fri/sat night street hoon... this was back in the day when you could cruise city to bay in a J ported rotorwith 52mm ida Webers and get away with it. things have changed and so to have i changed my ways.
  17. AS above but soak everything in wd40 or 5.56crc before even starting it.
  18. ofcorse it works... its adding preload to the gate via the use of a spring. its crude... but it works
  19. you should chuck it in the bin
  20. agreed... and nuf said. f**k people are believing this media fueled BS now arent they....
  21. that is a bosch pump... but unsure what model
  22. well yes the manifold prob does make a difference to spool. but the thing is this is a back to back comparison
