auto and manual looms are very similar... you can use an auto loom in a manual aplication with no worries

In my car which gets well thrashed my unwrapped dump gets so hot that my passenger melted his shoe on the floor plan when we were at winton. Lol! Need to rewrap it -
the nevara mod works just fine.. you use the rb25 cog on the nevara drive. theres a write up somewhere in the tutorial section. as for the motor... try and find something WITH a loom and ecu.. will be too hard to track shit down otherwise. doesnt matter if its auto or manual.. if its auto u can still use the same ecu to run it as manual

there are some bargains out there. my motor i bought with no box and no turbo.. was out of a written off 34 and had 42,000 genuine kms on there i then added a 33 box to it. motor and everything cold 1500 another package i recently bought for AM Performance was a complete motor and box combo again out of a mint stock well maintained car that was wrapped sideways around a tree. paild 3K for that package.

yeah i did. they were all at recommended spec.. i guess you got unlucky you know the clearances are spot on when the top end sounds like a sewing machine on idle

theres gains to be had with retuning the car.. nistune just allows you to alter the overly rich nissan maps.

yeah mate everything will work like standard. all we need is the RB20 engine loom and the neo engine loom and i'll take the bits off the 20 loom that i need. as for the speedo. if u use a rb25 box you'll need to go the nevara drive route to ensure the stock cable speedo works.

yeah with most conversions i do if the owner is not running ABS i'll strip all the ABS wiring from the neo loom to clean it up a bit, and then make it plug and play realistically to get a neo running theres only 4 wires that need 12v and it will run. theres about 8 other wires that get hooked up for dash cluster and so forth tho

its about 3-4 hours work. its really no difficult then wiring an R33 motor into an R32.

personally i would run the neo loom/ecu.. its a much better ecu then the RB20 set up. wiring it in isnt difficult. ive done plenty. the best way to do it is to strip out the wiper loom from the RB20 looma nd then fit that to the neo loom as well as powering it up etc. in fact if you send me the rb20 loom and the neo loom i can offer a plug and play result. you'll need to change the single wire temp sender on the neo to the RB20 item so the dash temp gauge reads right. the neo doesnt need a speed imput to run correctly.. but it helps

yeah that usually is a fault of the sensors. I know with my SR which i had a PFC on it when i revved it it told me i had knock over 150.. even on free rev with no load. pulling 5 deg timing out of the map didnt change it so had to be a f**ked sensor. the system is only as good as the componants on board

matty im after a HID kit, H4 i think is what the 180sx lights are. brightest white available.. so 6000K i think.

would you prefer that the ecu shows you that its knowing and flashes a light at you yet does nothing about it and by then it may be too late (power fc) or would prefer an ecu that when it senses knocking reverts to a knock copy map which saves the engine. (nistune)

Hi guys. Thinking about selling my Nissan Stagea to get a 4wd with a larger towing capacity. I will consider SWAPS for a 4wd, after a dual cab as a minimum so dont tell me about your utes or commodores/falcons. Or a Cash sale -Nissan Series 2 RS4 Stagea - Snow Edition with lockable centre diff -Tiptronic auto -140K kms -Neo Rb25det, had factory nissan 100K service done by Nissan. all new belts, pumps etc etc, very well looked after and maintained -Bleed valve and boost gauge, running 11psi. goes very well -D&T exhaust system - have reciepts -Tow bar fitted. have towed my race car + trailer + full car of people + fuel and tools + tyre rack with no drama's does it very well -Tein Wagon Master coilovers. near new, have the reciepts, manuals and adjusters for them. handles great! -18inch Speedy wheels all round with Federal 595's up front and neutons on the rear. plenty tread left -3 months rego -Pioneer MP3 player with a full set of awesome speakers/splits. sounds great without being over the top -ALL electrics work -inside and outside is immacualte! -Recently fitted a triple point alarm/immob which complies with Aust standards and insurance worth $700 -have a stack of reciepts for the various work done Price - $12,000firm or swaps as above in bold. yeah and the poncam type B's are the only drop in cam that works with a neo without needing to reshim.

all the buckets and shims are same for in/ex.. just like RB26/ however the shimms might vary in thickness so check the clearances with some feelers.. use the RB26 FSM to help you with this,

yuo can adapt the R33 loom to run the Neo. Roll's did a similar thing. all the RB;s from 20/25/26 can be adapted to run any RB loom. just takes some work and swapping of sensors and plugs to match the ECU. idealy tho.. use the neo loom and neo ECu and then get a nistune on the 34 ECU... win
