  1. Big strong ones... I've seen people with those "aircraft quality" t-bolt hose clamps, that look like they'll clamp your balls until they fall off. They're the ones I want. Anyone know of somewhere in Sydney that sells them?
  2. 600.1kw @ all four.
  3. No worries mate, make sure you come up and say hi to us... We don't bite
  4. Guys, R33s have the battery in the boot, R32s have it in the engine bay. moo_r32, You don't really have any other choice but to run the power wire from the engine bay to your boot. Keep it on the other side of the car as your RCAs to reduce interference. Make sure you fuse the power cable not more than 30cm from your battery terminal too.
  5. You're welcome to cruise up with us if you want, but we're aiming to get there at 8:30 and setup... Spectators aren't really arriving until 10am, so it might be boring for you to get there so early... If I had a choice I'd choose SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!
  6. Can't improve on perfection In all honesty, I can COMPLETELY understand people who put GTR-style bodykits on their GTS-ts. My first skyline was a DEAD stock R33 GTS-t Type-M, and it was the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Good performer, but DAAAAAAAAAAMN that bitch was ugly. So I looked for bodykits to try and fix up the looks department a bit, and I quickly realised that at the time, all bodykits available for the GTS-t were fugly beyond belief. The only nice ones were the Trial one (I didn't like their front bar, but the rest of the kit was nice) and the "GTR-style" kit. I eventually chose a hybrid: GTR Front bar (no badge), 400R side skirts, 400R rear bar and GTR Rear Wing............ A combination that I'm proud to say I thought up myself, and has since been mirrored by many many other GTS-ts that I've seen driving on the roads Here are some pics of my very first skyline. Transformed from a dead stocker.
  7. I can give you the two pieces of piping either side of the intercooler that came off my GTR, but as surprising as it is, I didn't have piping to suit a GTS-t on my GTR No, it doesn't come with piping.
  8. Very true Franks, ...but it is also our perogative to feel that it's a waste of such beautiful machinery to have them sitting in the carpark of drag racing events, when that's what those cars were built to do... (What else would such a power curve be useful for? )
  9. Perhaps we should get a map or directions Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
  10. Psst... That's because they don't spool up until 8000rpm Nice peak dyno number, but nothing useable
  11. These won't fit ANY Skylines unless you've replaced your hubs
  12. fixed.
  13. Well I think we should budget 1.5 hours to be safe... I'd want to leave wahroonga shell at exactly 7am, so lets get people to aim to get there by 6:30-6:45... No waiting for stragglers... Leave exactly 7am. ............. just you watch, now I'll be late and get left behind
  14. How long will it take to get to Mingara from Wahroonga?
  15. Hey guys....
  16. Those cars aren't worth $100k (perhaps to build in the first place yes, but not second hand from japanese auctions) but I respect that they are expensive and prized possessions, and understand that they might not want to run them too hard and risk blowing them up... As for "just the sake of it"? Surely, running the cars at a dyno day just to show it off when you already know what power it makes is more trivial than actually using the car as the original builders intended? Maybe we have different ideas about what things are "just for the sake of it"... I don't consider chasing a 1:45 at eastern creek or a 10 second pass "just for the sake of it"... I consider that "actually using the cars the way they should be used" And morlock: Dom (Autostyle King-Banana) is a very good driver... He's an excellent drifter
  17. Hey Dave, If you could price one out for me anyway, I'd really appreciate that... Andrew
  18. Thanks for that! Unfortunately Chris's one is for an R32 (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=36207) I'll send nengun an email! Cheers, Andrew.
  19. Just wondering if you realised that your car was pink?
  20. Yup, an HKS ETC for R33 GTR... Each GTR has a different harness, so I need an R33 specific one. New or second hand. Show me what you've got! email: andrew at andrewho dot com or PM me
  21. I've also read of negatives of boost-controlled water injection setups... I can't remember exactly what the problem was though
  22. NSW actually!!! http://www.markwebber.com/about/index.cfm
