I'm not really dissing Autostyle... They have some beauuuuuuuuuutiful cars... I just think it's a shame to be making so much power and not using the cars to their potential, and instead just cruising around the city and going to street races

I understand that translating terminal speeds into ETs is quite a hobby for some people, myself doing it for my car when I couldn't put the power down off the line... But doing it as a marketing ploy and even SAYING those figures when you've never done them is just not right. I don't care whether you were at the rev limit in 3rd gear 50m before the line... and coasted over for an 11.7 @ 126mph. That's a great time and it's only reduced to bullshit and you lose a lot of credibility when you try and say things like "oh with the right gearing that would have been a 10.8 @ 132mph" P.S. you didn't bite to my response quite as hard as I had hoped Well done I am still interested in what proof you have of the APS/C&V car running nitrous though... In all seriousness, that's quite a big claim and you have to be able to back it up for us....

Thank you for the genuine answer!! ............Finally Can I ask though, why you would get the car tuned for C16 but not tuned optimally? If you were to get it tuned for C16, you could advance the ignition timing a LOT and gain a lot more response and power.... Might even add 2-4mph to your time!! What I'm saying, is that if people are getting their car tuned for C16, it's for the drags and ONLY for the drags and they tune it to the limit (or a tiny bit below)... I've never heard of a C16 tune that you could actually use PULP with... It kinda defeats the purpose of tuning for C16!!! Do you understand where I'm coming from? If you wanted to be able to run your car on PULP, with the occasional run on C16, it's best to get it tuned on PULP... The way you did it was very iffy... What if you didn't have enough C16 in the tank to raise the octane enough? And what about now when you have no C16 left? Are you going to constantly raise the octane level of every tankful of petrol you use? Oh, and I was drunk last night when I typed that reply above... Thanks for taking it like a champ

I've seen and taken detailed photos of the APS/C&V XR6T engine bay (the day it ran it's 10 second pass) and there is no supercharger there, so the only other option is that cuspub is claiming that they're running nitrous (which is more easily hidden).

Well obviously *WE* care. - Because I don't like being fed absolutely bullshit and garbage. - Because others might come in here and think that they can also run their car with PULP on a C16 tune. - Because we're interested in what you actually did? We're here to share information about our experiences and knowledge, not to blatantly LIE or decieve each other about what we've done. - Because I'm GENUINELY interested in knowing whether you were able to tune the car for C16 fuel and run it with PULP at full noise and not grenade your motor. Is that reason enough? When are you going to cut the BULLSHIT and tell us what's really going on? If you actually tell us the truth, perhaps we can learn something here. ... and if you're lying like I think you are,WHY ARE YOU LYING TO A BUNCH OF PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET??? Are you really that much of an attention whore that you have to lie to strangers on the internet to gain respect? What do I think? I think: 1. You either ran C16 this past Wednesday and lied about running PULP just so your time would be entered in the database. 2. You never ran C16 at all (doubtful, I know) 3. You don't really know anything about cars or tuning and just bought a built R32 GTR and are trying to gain credibility from it. I think it's a combination of 1 and 3.... Please prove me wrong, and stop with the bullshit replies that don't answer any of our questions. Just explain how you managed to run C16 one week and get 120mph and then run the SAME TUNE with PULP and also get 120mph the following week. I am 100% honestly interested, and I might learn something from you.

Nope. Unless he has an FC Datalogit with the ability to store and load multiple maps, there is no way he should have been able to use PULP on a proper C16 tune.

Shouldn't it really go by the timestamp of the post? If I had known you'd check your PM's first, I wouldn't have bothered with posting in your actual For Sale Thread, which is the correct forum for discussion is it not? If Sebaz sent his PM first, then I have no qualms, but if my post at 11:22pm yesterday was first, that's quite unfair.

I see. So now we've reduced ourselves to calling APS and C&V Performance liars. "The car in question is not running an off-the-shelf APS Stage 3, it runs in excess of 18-19 psi boost, is juiced (fuel) and utilises a second form of forced induction" Well I don't count different fuel or more boost a step away from an off-the-shelf kit. Do you have any proof to backup your claim that the APS/C&V XR6T was running Nitrous? Please tell me you do, as making wild claims like that without any backup is a very dangerous thing to do for your credibility. And your extrapolation of figures to claim a 10.8 @ 132mph from a 11.7 @ 126mph car is hilarious. Why bother develop and work with our cars? I'll just say "Oh... with the correct gearbox, and 600hp worth of direct port nitrous, my 11.7 @ 126mph should REALLY have been a 7.4 @ 172mph!!!! Quick.... Out of my way, I'm off to go buy the Nizpro Stage 3 kit!!!!
