  1. Yeah let me know the date.. I do travel a bit for work but will let you know once you confirm date.
  2. I got 19x10.5+12 with 285/35/19 Rubber on my 34R, as stated earlier it rubs at full lock My next set of wheels will be 18x11+15 Here's a couple of pics
  3. Are you still looking for an R34 GTR?
  4. I've done about 500kms on my Twin plate C spec Coppermix, awesome clutch. Very happy with the stock feel, it's a little noisy at idle but hey it's a twin plate so I can deal with this. It got a great bite, which engages from about half pedal. I bought this after reading quite a few guys running them with 400kw with no problem at the track. Oh and the stupidly expensive quote I got from NPC
  5. I feel for you Bob, but as you have said you should've had the car checked.. or A search on here or even google would've saved you the heartache.. I wish you luck with your new battle Noy
  6. Glad you got them Stuart... I took mine straight line racing on the weekend, now I'm looking forward to using them @ QR or Lakeside
  7. Bare in mind these are plugs, the moulds will be made way oversized. This way they can be made to any height depending if people want race only items or street use. Can't please everyone..
  8. I'm heading out this Sat 12th
  9. I got my set from Z Car Racing in Underwood, Brisbane. contact Alan Stean on (07) 3808 2755, or email him on [email protected] He's a Hankook dealer and should have stock.. Maybe try there Cheers Noy
  10. This is exactly where I'm putting my oil cooler, I'm going to have to fabricate ducting like this to encaptulate the Oil Cooler. Having the front and side vents should allow plenty of airflow through there.
  11. +1 I'd hit the like button if there was one. I do stalk most peoples builds, it's always an interesting read @ 10-11pm at night when bored.
  12. No problem Simon... I'm just waiting for my bracket kit to arrive and then this will be fitted to my car to finalise the fin lengths and make sure there square. I have a car for trial fitment but will post pics once finished.
  13. Yeah crazy length but good thing about Composites is they can be trimmed up to any specific height/shape
  14. Yeah Yeah... I'm getting there. Carbon parts don't build themself overnight.. Or do they! LOL Simon... Can never be too big.
  15. What do people expect for $700? Project Mu would not be Epoxy At best Vinylester but I'd be guessing Polyester, Considering the low Tg of polyester this would be normal. A carbon bonnet in direct sunlight can get to around 135 degrees C so even a poorly made vinylester bonnet would soften. Project Mu bonnets are Gelcoat finish also, 1 layer of carbon and backed with general chop strand mat. When you think about it vacuum infused 200gm 3k carbon is around 4 layers per millimetre, so even 3mm carbon laminates have flex and a bonnet is around 2sq metres. Do the maths 12 layers of carbon x 2sqm = 24sqm of just carbon alone @ $40/sq/m - $960 just in carbon for a 3mm thickness. Just for a bonnet skin! So back to Neil, I see your car is black so either way if you had it carbon or painted you will end up with the same outcome. I think you just need to get use to it or go back to your metal bonnet if your worried. Noy
  16. 1st run was 14.1 @ 104mph then clutch just got worse, come back next day for eliminations and went 13.7 @ 90mph.. poor clutch didn't cut it and I pretty much rolled over the line for that pass.. My Nismo Coppermix twin Comp clutch gets put in next week and I'll head back out and see how it goes before swapping out the twins for a new 6262 setup.

Seems QLD has it's share too... Here's a couple from a cruise we had today.
  18. I took my 34 out to for the first time a couple of months ago and run on 19's even kept 38psi in them. 285/35/19 Federal RPM's It's all about going out for fun, my 34 is factory stock standard and the clutch wasn't up for it..
  19. I'll check to see if we have any shelf life expired stock at work, there's normally something. I'll let ya know tomorrow night. Noy

2 ways, either host the picture or attach it below where you write a reply.
  21. That's a pretty cool site.. I own number 146/180 I've also got 4 more auction sheets for MPIII 34's, most showing rust and or repair. These were the other 4 that came through in the year or so I was waiting for mine..

    R34s...please!

I get bored in my spare time so just go off on tangents and make random crap for my car. Fitment is not perfect, because they weren't moulded from genuine plastic parts. I expected this. With some slight mods they should almost line up across the face of the bar, only the side one might need a bit more work. They look off because I have a plastic bar bent over the wheelie bin. Will post up some close ups once I've fitted them to my car, the blue GTR front bar was to hack up and practice, lets hope practice makes perfect. I don't like to idea of cutting holes in my MPIII front bar but all for a good cause. Once there fitted I'll get an oil cooler kit fitted there.
