Are you aware how much money is involved to get a 12 second pass out of a 31? (I'd be questioning the 12 sec with just a hi-flow T03) If you're interested in buying it, ring them up and ask them what model it is. I would assume it's an Aus spec. (possibly Ti with power windows?) Find out if it has LSD It's not overpriced, you can still pay up to $8000 for a 31 from a car yard. The only thing that would concern me, is the fact that it's probably been thrashed. :Oops:

I think they were phased out on the later models, but all of the early models have them.. I've been trying to hunt down a set but all the people who have them won't part with them What's next on the list of plans? ...or are you just going to enjoy it and drive it around for a while before you spend any more money on it?

Series 3 aus bonnets are the same as the one in the pic. Only the Ti bonnet is different. Normal bonnet Ti bonnet Sorry for the hi-jack..... tomj you say it's an import front, but there are no little lights on the top of the guard panels? The little lights are the best thing (in my opinion) about the import front ends.

Jimbo, I have a glossary that i've spent YONKS compiling. Provided you credit me with the work i've done, i'll let you steal it. My gearbox has hunting issues when it heats up. The tranny fluid runs through the radiator, then through the cooler, but it's still sending too much heat into the gearbox. The surface area on the cooler just isn't big enough. It's OK on long trips when I'm not changing gears constantly and it's getting a good constant flow of cool fresh air, but for city driving, with the constant stop start and gearchanging, it just can't deal with it.

Could someone please point me to some information in regards to this? The link to the news article at the start of the thread doesn't mention anything about people not being able to drive after a certain time. It relates only to a passenger restriction, and only when the passenger is also under 21. I would like some solid information in regards to what everyone is so upset about. Thanks, ~K
