  2. Greenline have one on their website, its the Tomei intake for BNR32.
  3. Whos keen on heading out to mineshaft on sunday?
  4. Small problem me and some others had last time we went to corin is the road is really loose and cars with wide tyres were flicking rocks up all over the place. Other than that, anywhere out in that general direction is good for a bbq... Orroral, Honeysuckle, Corin Dam etc.
  5. Its been skipped this whole summer, but im down for a cruise out to Orroral Valley (past Tharwa) and have a BBQ or something... would have to be soon though, gets damn cold out there in winter.
  6. Cool cool... you at work today? Ill try all the places I get my parts from and see how much they want for a rear cut, I doubt its going to be cheap though Will let you know
  7. So true Jayce Im not expecting my car to make massive power, I dont actually care how much it makes anymore. We (me and Ed) have been fiddling with it over the last few days, and it now goes like all hell with shitloads of mid - top range power, which is what I wanted (as its going to be tracked) so im not really fussed over outright power. Who cares what anyone else thinks about the power you make leech, if youre happy with the car thats all that matters
  8. Ouch was hoping it wasnt you Was going to call but dont have your number If you need any help with anything on getting it fixed, let me know
  9. Thats one long ass drive Im down for going to have drinks somewhere, but where can we go that has decent parking to fit us all in (I refuse to park in civic for many reasons)?
  10. Ok sorry the "snow" season... damn fussy ass r33 drivers
  11. Would like to come down but will probably miss it... ski season coming up soon, i need to save some cash
  12. Ill be out as ill be in queanbeyan anyways
  13. Ahh yes, that was a while ago... trying to repress those memories of my fuel pump crying no moreeee on the dyno Really want to pick up the GT-C's in the near future some time, and just slick the current enkeis and use for track (they weigh next to nothing).
  14. Ive got a 044 in the boot and its not even that noisy *scratches head* At idle on very very very hot days, you can hear it buzz slightly, under acceleration cant hear it at all...
  15. I love the Top Secret Volk GT-C's... company here could get a set for me, but god damn theyre pricey!! Meanwhile, are these Enkeis common in Japan? I have them on my GTR, at times they look ok, other times they look stupid. Never seen them on another car or in mag/product listings though --> http://gtr.infinite.net.au/mygtr5.jpg
  16. Ive got a 32 GTR with similar mods to what you want, 2530's, Tomei 260 poncams, powerfc, avcr and camgears, making 330kw at the wheels. Also has HKS twin plate in it (which is meant to be one of the more vicious to drive on the market), full whiteline suspension and its still quite nice to drive on the street. In my opinion, it has reached the level of being an extremely quick street driven car, while still maintaining response and driveability etc. It can certainly be driven daily, I just dont as I have a commodore to rack the kms up on instead of the gtr EDIT: Ive also smashed a gearbox (3rd gear) with the current setup, but I was doing extremely ham-fisted 2nd -> 3rd gear changes. I take it a bit slower now and dont quite use as much force to change, and work the throttle in from 75% -> 100% instead of just mashing the pedal and havnt had a problem.
  17. You must be mistaken, as far as im aware whales are too big to get sideways
  18. Yeah sadly enough mooseheads would be the biggest club in Canberra
  19. Theres only so much you can change on tuning... ignition timing, advance it until it starts detonating (if youre doing it in small increments, wont cause any damage) and then pull it back a few degrees for safety. Adjust air fuel ratios, so its close to stoich off boost, and nice mid-high 11's:1 on boost. The Power FC is also virtually identical between all cars, so I wouldnt be too worried about car specific experience, but as to how confident they are around power fc's.
  20. ill be out... hopefully itll get a turnout like last week
  21. The 044 isnt that noisy... it makes a small audible buzzing noise at idle, cant hear it any other times. And the surge tank is to prevent fuel surges going around a track etc Also raises my bling bling wank factor when I pop the boot with all the pretty braided hoses and earls/speedflow fittings
  22. me mark and ewen go out quite a bit (well, marks out every friday and saturday of every weekend ) and its ok... kinda getting over it though. last weekend was awesome though... guess it comes down to how drunk i am
  23. Yep ill be around this year definately
  24. My standard pump wasnt happy above ~210kw at all 4 wheels. Most people say you can get close too 300kw at the wheels before needing to replace it. My new fuel system comprises of factory pump in tank, 2L surge tank and Bosch 044 pump. Works a treat.
  25. As long as they fix it for free, or pay for someone else (better) to fix it...
