    Stat write off you can’t register at all birds ? They will only put the car on the WOVR unless there’s structural damage.

    If you don’t want it written off withdraw the claim. The insurance company is well within its rights to write the vehicle off. The reason they would in this particular case is because they don’t know how thrashed it is and can’t guarantee any repairs. More cost effective to write it off.

    If it's a percentage which is less than 100% wouldn't it be cheaper for the company to repair it? [emoji57] Rule of thumb is that if cost of repairs, towing/storage costs and savage etc. exceeds the value that's where they will write it off as un economical. They may, now depending on the situation write a vehicle off as a business decision if less or if it's obviously unsafe to repair. I also work in the industry [emoji4]

    Terry this is because you are old.. I see threads like this is a complete waste of time. It's a liability insurance, based on age and type of vehicle, age of driver & location. No one will be the same so you really can't compare.
