  1. Everyone here is trying to provide help… I suggest you mount the stock solenoid back in where it was and plug it in… then joing the boost lines up like they were from factory. Then cut those lines and plumb off the ends and leave the solenoid plugged in. Now add your boost Tee inline and see if you have fixed your issue. Personally if I had all those good bits sitting aside you had I wouldn’t be messing and putting undue stress on your engine/turbo.. I would wait and fit all your goodies then play Just my 2c….
  2. lol....I would be re-mounting your MAP sensor.. if I were you I wouldn't even remove the stock solenoid. Cut the tubing and terminate the tubing with screws or plugs. Then install your boost tee hidden away. That way if your engine bay ever gets looked over by the popo or RTA you look like you running standard boost with no controller…
  3. Other thing i have just though of is next Friday is a public holiday then the Monday after that... hope he wasn't just saying next THursday he will pay you then be able to just go away for the long weekend and leave you with no answers. Anywho my offer still stands, PM me if you need my help.

If you do not get your money back on THursday I will come with you and kick up a shit storm and help put the hard word on him @ EL on Friday next week. Please PM me and I will give you my mobile so you can get in touch with me. WIthout saying to much on a public forum I work for channel 9 and worst case I can help you chat to the write people to get a bit of media hype.
  5. Any updates on this thread? If you need an airbox I have one you can borrow (located near Castle Hill) Feel sorry for you mate…
  6. do you need any help or advice on removing the bleed valve and re-connecting your stock solenoid? (hoping they have left it mounted in your engine bay, if not you will also need to grab one off ebay.... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-R34-Skyline-GTT-Factory-Boost-Solenoid-/290818707557?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43b6255065&_uhb=1
  7. All good mate, got to start somewhere and learn... My opinion: I suggest you buy a standard SMIC (Side mount intercooler) which will come with standard piping etc and fit that. Then remove your FMIC and all piping and take to a garage for them to fit and weld a metal patch over the hole cut. This may all still not be enough. The idea here is to try and make it all look standard and hope they dont even notice the patch job.. Once you pass then you can put your FMIC kit back on and sell the SMIC and piping. Example of a SMIC on ebay that would do the job: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-SKYLINE-INTERCOOLER-R34-12-96-04-96-97-98-99-00-01-02-03-04-/271359647064?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f2e4b9d58&_uhb=1 Hope that helps...
  8. my thought also... I would be checking all the boost lines and silicon joins on IC piping as a year sitting around may wear it so when under boost you may get small splits etc leaking air...
  9. do you know what brand of FMIC kit is on the car? if you are standing at the front of the car looking at the bonnet follow the pipe coming out of the left of the cooler and see how it runs into your engine bay... If it runs through any hole that has been cut by the previous owner then you are going to have troubles....
  10. Had a weekend off work so I took the time to install some of the mods I have had siting in my garage for a while Pictures are attached of the various mods, worth noting I installed everything myself with a mixture of my own knowledge and Google/this forum · FMIC Kit · Drivers side seat upgrade · Conversion Speedo/Cluster kit · HID low beam and HID Hi beam (8000k colour temp) · Complete LED conversion of all exterior globs (parkers, all indicator globes, reverse lights, number plate lights etc) · LED conversion to interior dome light and map lights + I have a blue conversion kit for my Aircon buttons still to be installed. I took a fair few pictures while installing a lot of these mods which I am happy to do a write up and post for anyone who wants it Stay tuned in the coming weeks for the following mods: · Converting the clock plus aircon displays to blue (using acrylic gel) plus replacing the aircon buttons to blue LED · Interior blue lighting in foot wells when doors open (courtesy lights) · Installation of new LED indicator units · Engine bay tidy up with new blue colour hosing and conduit..
  11. or I pick it up from him, it does not work and I can't get a hold of him (not being able to contact him is why he has the multiple negative feedback on ebay) and I have pissed away $600
  12. Hey mate, not to hijack your thread BUT, this is you selling the same thing on ebay no? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/231195912812?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 And you have a feedback score of -2.. I am interested but a little unsure with such bad feedback....
  13. Just the outdoor car park or the multi story one also? I have been parking there on weekdays for about 2 months, I have left my car overnight once or twice also. hmmmm... perhaps I should consider another station or catch a bus to the station from my place...
  14. Spotted a half black/gold R33 @ Seven HIlls Train station (outdoor carpark) early this morning... Have also seen multiple skylines parked at the same station over the past few weeks but in the multi story car park.. mainly R32's. I am the black r33 that is usually parked on level 2 on weekdays.
