  1. do these have any troubles picking up sattelites with the gps? the original ones did but apparently these dont.
  2. you will probably find that these rods are the same as electronics, the cheap and nasty stuff and the top of the range high quality stuff is quite possibly made by the same ppl, but some items are built to a price and others are built to a quality.
  3. obviously the turbo is the same as a garret then since MTQ use a T28 rebuild kit for them.
  4. R33 turbo's are BB, i know this because i was told they were not and went out and bought a bush bearing rebuild kit for my S1 turbo only to discover once we got the turbo apart that they are actually a GT28 as opposed to the T28 which is a bush bearing.
  5. what about something like this carputer although the sound car looks a little shitty. also how do you go with cd's, obviously most of the stuff would be on the hdd but for the odd occasions when you want to play a cd do you have to go to the boot to change it?

  7. would it make a difference if i block the line going from the rocker cover to the inlet manifold and then run the other 2 lines to the catch can and plumb them back to the turbo inlet or should i run the manifold pipe through the catch can as well and then a return to the manifold?

  9. try driving 12 hours a day like i do and you will hate them as well, they are purely wank factor, if you have not already seen what is 2 meters in front of you then you deserve to be upside down in a ditch. and for those who drive around with no headlights and there driving lights on that is worse than wank factor, that is "have a look at me i just cut my cock off" factor. bright rear brake lights that come on when the spotlights are on are good though, i get longer to follow them with a bull bar full of spotlights on.

  11. it dosnt help when we have a known bad traders list on this forum that never gets updated, i know of two known bad traders that the mods also know about but they have not bothered to put them on the list, in fact the list has not been updated in the last year.
  12. i would not bother for now, i believe the suspension in my car is standard and for a daily driver it handles pretty dam good as it is, personally i would leave the handling, get the mods you mentioned done and go out for the next few weeks, in a month or so after the mods are done then decide if you want cooil overs or not, this will also give you more time to see what is out there and get better opionons on what people think of brands and coil overs in general, i have noticed a few ppl selling there coil overs lately and going back to standard because it is too stiff for a daily driver.
  13. i blew my turbo, it was making a squealing noise on boost, put it back on 7psi and it lasted a good six months and every now and then i could help my self and put it back up to 12psi, didnt blow completely before i changed it. as a replacement, this is the turbo i have HERE if you can put one of these together i would higly recomend it.
  14. how did you go with bonnet clearance on the piping that comes from the tb?

JJr Turbo back exhaust w/ split dump $899.00 from Just Jap Stealth FMIC $550.00 from Just Jap Boost it to 12 Psi w/ Turbotech boost controller $30 If you still have an airbox i would stick with that and just get a panel filter, especially if your in vic. Add some sort of piggy back or retune and you should be happy. but in the end it depends on how much power you want.

  17. i think you missed the point, i was referring to how many times holden have used opel designs for there commodores. do you guys often test you lhd pontiacs on melbourne streets? saw one a couple of weeks ago on kings way at about midnight, had left hand drive stickers on the back and GTO pontiac badges all over it.
  18. thats just an even better reason to try it maybe use a dryer set up from a truck, they have a filter between the air compresor and the tank used for the air brakes.
  19. i have considered buying a couple of these second hand, pulling the motors off them and putting them on a gas tank from the wreckers, that way you would get the volume and the same pressure, maybe even change the gearing on the motors as well so it will fill the tank quicker.

  24. im guessing you are talking about pats tyres and more?? i deliver tyres to canberra for them but i have never heard of one being in vic.
  25. i have a pfc and im selling ti and going nistune, at the least its good to keep the knock correction function.
