  1. Any updates? i know this thread is old but im thinking its better off bumping this one then starting again. I have a set of S15 injectors im selling, have been offered a set of high flowed injectors to swap, am i better off getting the S15 high flowed a little bit more (enlarging the holes if thats possible), getting the rb25 high flow items or just buying a set of 700cc injectors. A lot of people from this thread should have had plenty of time to asess these, how many still have them and are happy with them?
  2. instead of making another thread why dont you just use the old one and reply to questions people have, pretty hard to sell something when you dont reply, or was it because you wanted to put the price up?
  3. Hmmm, that is odd, batteries dont normaly last 12 yrs, i have an odyssey that is only a few yrs old and had to replace that on the weekend, you should here it spin up now with a 1000cca dry cell.
  4. those wheels would look a lot better on an nc fairlane
  5. Or buy my S15 injectors
  6. +1 I have an RB25 with a high flow, at around 300hp i am maxing out the standard ecu, fuel pump and injectors, from what i know the RB20 injectors and fuel pump are smaller than the RB25 so i cant see you making 300 - 350 on your standard items. There are 2 gaurentee's in modifying cars: 1) Power costs money. 2) You get what you pay for. You have to spend the money and lay the ground work before you can step up, if you dont have an exhaust with full 3" turbo back including cat and dump pipe then that should be your first upgrade and will give you more power just there, pod/panel filter is also a must, then try upping the boost, after that ecu, injectors and fuel pump are next on your shopping list. But if you insist on just going a bigger turbo then the easiest and probably best bang for buck would be an RB25 high flow.
  7. http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/hpiab2/category12_1.htm NEW!! RB Nissan Special Garrett GT3071R ball bearing turbo At last!!!! An All New unit option for RB20/25 Nissan Engines with the compatible T3 base flange and 6 bolt Nissan Dump Pipe for a complete bolt on solution in a Garrett Ball Bearing GT series turbo. This new casting exhaust housing can be machined to suit this turbo (GT3071R), GT28RS, GT2871 or GT3076. ** please note the Garrett GT series turbos have a M14 water outlet size rather than the larger Nissan RB20/25 size outlet so water lines will have to be revised**
  8. garret make a housing that has the same dump pipe flange and from the research i have done it will bolt up to the dump just need a 10mm spacer between the turbo and manifold.
  9. but i still want the rest of the car in one piece. i need to have some reusable bits left over, like the block.
  10. my avcr says that mine goes to 7500 quite often, is there an easy way to to remove the limiter, the sooner i blow this engine the sooner i get my arse into gear and build my self a big banger.
  11. if its just a hi flow then you should be able to use the factory one.
  12. why would you still need a new dump pipe if the flange is the same?
  13. with the 3071 can you get it with a rear housing that bolts staright up to and rb25 dump pipe or are they all 3" 4 bolt flange?
  14. Its more commonly know as "remote mount turbo" this vid should give you and idea of the lag it has, or lack of.
  15. have you installed anything recently? check to make sure everything is hooked up to accessories and not constant power.
  16. now on ebay Power Fc S15 Injectors
  17. i dont know what state or even country you are from but i know 100% in vic any programmable ecu is illegal due to emissions. And the fact that these units are programmable means they are not fixed tune and thats why there not legal, you can get 20 minutes down the road plug in the controller and adjust everything again straight after an epa test, there is not true way to make these a "fixed tune" hence why people who modify there car wants one.
  18. I looked into the ecu thing when i first signed up, there is a box there for an aftermarket ecu but there is also a disclaimer saying that all modifications must be legal and roadworthy, as the power fc is not legal that gives them a reason to void your insurance, seems as though they do pay up but would be interesting to see what happens when someone takes out a $200,000 merc, im guessing at that point they might bring that disclaimer into play. i just renewed my insurance with them, had agreed value and they tried to drop the value by $800, rang them and told them its "agreed value" and thats not the value i agreed on, they put it back to where it was and told me that it will happen again next year so i told them i would call again next year.
  19. power fc alone for $600?? i would like to know where you can find that, i have been watching this section for prices as i am selling mine.
  20. no bracket, would sit too high, just used some good double sided tape on the bottom of the unit and stuck it straight to the shroud.

    Car Stolen!

Do you think if who was doing an insurance scam he would be on here looking for his car, no, he would be sitting in the corner quietly waiting for a pay out.
  22. here is where i mounted my avcr, dosnt block much of the gauges and can be seen with a quick glance.
  23. looks like you might have a seal problem in your turbo.
  24. WOW, the ad has been up for 5 hrs now and no one has bought it, thats amazing. These things take time, i would expect (even at the cheap price) it will still take a few weeks atleast. Would not hurt to put a link in your sig either, that way you get advertisement with every post you make. Also it is easier for some people to do a trade rather than sell there car and buy yours so list the cars you are after and maybe you can work something out that way, also saves you having to screw around finding another car.
