Maybe its just me but the phrase "you suck" and "f**k you" are on 2 completely different levels.

Also let me clarify, im not saying what you are doing is a bad thing, i just dont think its going to change anything, something like this is best done in the lead up to an election where it keeps issues like this in the fore front of peoples minds whne they go to the polling booth.

I dont see in there any refference to you saying "f**k the government" and whilst the two phrase's are simialar they are far from the same, unless your a politician then you could change it around enough to make it look like i said "i want to rape your first born child".

I dont vote for that exact reason, what they say and what they do is rarely the same thing, they will find some excuse to either not do it or change the way they said they would do it. Yes i do but do you expect them to now say, "oops we f**ked up and wasted shitloads of money so we will stop what we are doing, which of course will cost shitloads more coz we have signed contracts with companys to build it", politicians are ego driven power hungry idiots, it has been proven time and time again that they dont care what the public want, they have there own agenda, come election time they will throw out promises (which they most likely wont keep) and hand out some money to community groups in a hope that it will erase all the bad things they have done 3 or 4 years earlier, which for a lot of people is exactly what will happen. Yes Who is twisting words, i never said anything like that.

Since you feel so strongly about it what are you doing to fix the problem, post a thread where everyone says "the government sucks" and then forgets about it, or maybe start a facebook group where ppl click to join and then forget about, or do you put in some time and energy and actually do some thing? Personally i can see the bad points but as this is to benefit me and probably most of the people on this forum (vic section anyway) im happy to let it go on.

At idle the volts on the power fc hand controller show as between 14 - 14.6, at the terminals under the fuse box its .2 of a volt less and at the battery its .4 of a volt less, all of this was measured with a cheap multi meter though.

Jump starting it and then on the weekend going for a good 300k drive, problem is that once its fully charged it will still go flat again no matter what, i have not charged the optima but when the odysey was in there i did take it out and charge it with a decent charger and it took a few weeks but it still went flat again, its also odd that during the hot weather we had my current battery didnt have this problem, once the cold weather hit so did the troubles. Also when i first put the new battery in it was fully charged and worked great, but slowly it lost its charge and has never really gotten back to the same amount of charge.

The battery is a red top optima, havnt actually taken it out of the car to charge it, might change back to the old battery and see if there is still the same problem.

Battery is about 6 - 12 months old. Have taking it for long drives to charge it (around 4 hours) i assumed that would be enough to charge it properly, might have to put it on charge over night.

Thats how much power is being used with the car off and the alarm on, also can not check the fluid level in a sealed battery. Thanks, will give him a call this week.

Holden dont make anything on there own, they use some else's engine, gear box, diff and styling, now take a look at ford, the 6cyl engine is all aussie, the chassis is all aussie and used as a platform for other models and the body design is all aussie, the v8's are yank but who cares about them anyway xr6t FTW.

done all that, also tested current draw, was .2 of an amp from memory and was no difference with the alarm on or off, also the problem was a minor one when the weather got cold everything went to shit.

Got a problem with the battery going flat all the time, have tried as much as i can to track the problem and my work hours dont allow me to get it to an auto elec and pick it up so i need a mobile auto elec to come to my work and suss it out, would prefer someone who knows these cars as it may be a common problem specific to skylines, worst thing would be to get a bill and he still couldnt find the problem.

mine is having pretty much the same problems, changed the alternator and battery, now have a red top optima, during the hot weather it wasnt really a problem, now that its cold i cant keep it charged, i now have to use the old odysey battery that i replaced to jump start the car every morning and when i leave work every night, its pissing me off.

I think the dash pad would fit, read a thread on here where some couldnt fit a non air bag wheel onto his car that was meant to have an airbag (he didnt know till the wheel wouldnt fit) and i think the electrics for the air bag would be a big task to sort out, not having air bags is one thing but having an air bag that goes off randomly because it isnt fitted right is pretty dangerous in its self.

You have S1 4 door headlights, S1 4 door and 2 door headlights fit both but 4 door ones are cheaper, so you either have a 4 door or at some stage (usually after an accident) some has changed them for the cheaper lights.

cars like that piss me off, im about to drop 5-10k on my gtst and a gtr is only 6k more.

LOL 7???? you have absolutely nothing to worry about, my tuner told me that if it constantly goes over 45 then i should get it checked, note the word constantly, the factory knock sensors have a habbit of picking up other noises and reading it as knock, so unless it is constantly high there is nothing to worry about, i have seen it as high as 111 once. Also another take on this topic is that your engine could have a really safe tune, due to the fact that it reads a lot of other noises as knock a 7 could mean that your engine is no where near its potential and is in fact under tuned.
