  1. I'm having a cleanup, and as I'll be selling the skyline shortly (It's being replaced by the stagea for the expanded family.. :-) it means I've got some tires that I'd been collecting for future use for sale - 4 x Yokohama AVID S306 255/40 ZR 17 (only slightly used) -SOLD 2 x Bridestone Grid II 235/45 ZR 17 - SOLD 4 x Firestone F690 215/50 R17 91V I don't really want to break up each set of 4 (and the set of 2). I'm in Melbourne, and am happy to drop them of anywhere. For pics (I got to frustrated trying to use the gallery) look at http://www.r34skyline.com/tires.htm (they are a bit dirty given they have been stored in the garage roof :-) More details -> 4 x Yokohama AVID S306 255/40 ZR 17 (only slightly used) These are worth over $300 new (I checked today). I'm selling them for $120 each. There would be 75% to 85%+ tread left (6mm), as I think they were put on new a few months before the car was sold in Japan (there are still the little bits of rubber on the side of the tires, as they haven't come off yet). They were on my skyline when it arrived, but I had to take them off for compliance. Always meant to put them back on again, but never got around to it! Now that I've got the stagea (and am selling the skyline (R34 GTX:-)shortly), they are a bit too sporty for it - which is why I'm selling them. 2 x Bridestone Grid II 235/45 ZR 17 These are worth well over $200 new (they are the Z ones). I'm selling them for $75 each. As you can see in the photo's, lots of tread left - I don't know as a percentage, but would guess 75%+ 6mm to 7mm 4 x Firestone F690 215/50 R17 91V $50 each. Also plenty of tread left - these were on my recently arrived stagea, I would have left them on apart from compliance! But now I've put slightly different sized ones on, so don't want to keep these as spares. NOTE: There are no defects/holes etc, but you can't use these tires for compliance (they all came down from Japan). Ian
  2. Who are you using for insurance?? Ian
  3. Yes they are standard, I just uploaded a pic of mine to the gallery, with a few words.. :-) ie And the words were - "Yes, the S2 Stagea does have front torque gauge, then voltage (who cares!) and turbo boost in the center console. It has replaced oil temperature (which is on my R34). While I like the torque(!) it would have been nice if they had junked the voltage and left the oil temp!" Ian

  11. And could you also give the exact measurements of the net - the one I just bought over from Japan does NOT have the right vertical height for my s2 stagea! Alex, it might fit your series 1 though, so I'll bring it around for you to try it out soon... Ian
  12. So some people can post pics, and others can't? Or is it only admins who can? Ian
  13. Alex, I have done a bit of work with mouldings manufacturing etc etc, and it is much more expenisve/ tricky than what you think. So I doubt extremely that it would be cost effective to do for a small number (ie < 100 ). That said, if you did end up doing it, I could take my car somewhere for them to look at for you.. Ian
  14. ..still no way to post to the gallery..
  15. Nope - still no upload button anywhere (Unless I'm not looking it the right place!_ Ian
  16. Same here - is there anything special you have to do to use the gallary? I assume it's the same username/password as the forums, but I don't have any button (that I can see) to upload pictures! Ian
  17. Yep - put that down to being a dumb user again... Thanx!
  18. OK, how about Saturday 1st October, noon, Jells park? (unless it is pissing down rain)
  19. Possibly somewhere a bit closer, as not all of us can make a day of it. How about just at jells park (wheelers hill)? I agree the BBQ's there are a bit of fun (wood (supplied), not gas) but it will be much easier to get to... Ian
  20. Same here, I got the recent stagea through Geoff at Prestige Motorsport, and agree with SK's comments. Ian
  21. ah, that explains it - I have no "My Photos" option, I'll do a post in the right section to say I have a problem.. Ian
  22. How are you going getting the old one out? I tried today and gave up getting a spanner in.. I've rung around town and nobody seems to have the 'oxygen sensor socket' in stock either... Edit: and slightly off topic, SK - How did you get the gallery working? Is there something special you have to do/be to post images there? I just went over to it, and cant find any button or menu to upload images... Ian
  23. I reckon you should DEFINITLY put the same size/profile tires on each wheel and take it for a spin to see if it fixes the problem. And it might be better to try 235/45 all round, as if that works OK you could do that permanently, where you may not want 255/40's on the front.. On a slight tangent, I'm doing a bit of a cleanup at the moment, and will be selling a few tires soon (not wheels). Comes from importing a couple of cars over the years, you get to keep the Japanese tires.., but I've decided I really don't need three entire spare sets for the car… I've got two mint conditions 255/45 tires, and I think I've several good condition (ie 80%+) 235/45's, so PM me if you end up needing some rubber.. :-)
  24. I still just need the vertical net bit (I already have the pull back cover). If you want to sell me just one of those, send me a pm with the price. Ian
