Eastern Creek Street Meeting
Yo-Yo replied to Nickolas's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I'll try to make it down for the day straight after work I have an auto. it's my first auto i've owned and I've always been curious whether the sport shift mode is faster than tiptronic shifting in a straight line I don't get off work until around 6 and from work it would be maybe a 30 minute drive with traffic -
yeah that's kind of what I've been doing the past 8 months, gradual changes but I seem to bulk up pretty easily, just working on getting rid of the rest of my excess bodyfat with cardio, toning and keeping my muscles lean rather than bulking up next step is to work on my diet to get rid of my excess once and for all

I'm more of a resistance/bodyweight man myself all the freeweights are usually hogged by all the meatheads at my gym anyway as I only have time to go after work when everyone else packs into the gym as said before each style has it's own benefits I'm going for the lean look rather than bulk I'm in no way kidding myself that I will ever look like him, but my inspiration is the type of body that bruce lee had

R34 Gtt 4 Door Stylin Bodykit - Sneak Peek
Yo-Yo replied to STYLN's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
thanks your bar suits the look of the 4 door anyway, imo the bar is just right, not too aggessive in styling but a big presence. With the right sideskirts to complement the rear bar it will be a very schmick look if that was my car I'd look at making the boot flush and remove the wing as it looks small and out of place with the bar, I'm not a fan of huge spoilers anyway looks good and waiting for the finished product -

I know what you mean, greenslips are getting a bit silly now I laughed when I opened my greenslip renewal with GIO and it was over 600 ($650ish from memory) scrunched it up and threw it in the bin I double checked my greenslip and the dealership I went to were able to get one for me $392 nrma just went to the reception desk and she was able to get me a quote. This was in march so dunno if anything has changed since then regarding greenslips -

personally, if he told you that i wouldn't worry about going back to see him any decent tyre shop can do an alignment for around $40-$70 and 15 mins, it will bring your tyres back into spec as you may already know even a 1" drop can make your wheels go from this ||-o--o-|| to this //-o--o-\\ maybe not a drastic change but enough to make a difference to your tyre's overall wear and life

Neons are old hat I thought the kids are all into led strips these days, saw some the other day on a burgundy civic sedan all I could do was shake my head I laughed in disgust when I first saw them on Audis, at least bmw's angel eyes are somewhat respectable, still a wank factor the audi led strip to me is just a one-up to bmw that wasn't well thought out

I've been back in the gym for the last 8 months or so, glad I did. I go 3 times a week mon, wed, fri I'm back in shape and really only go now to maintain my lean muscle while I'm still packing a little bit of body fat on my sides it's only small now and nowhere near as bad as I let myself get to, let's just say if someone saw me 8 months ago and only just saw me now the difference would be night and day

What You Do You Think Of The R35 Gt-r Wagon?
Yo-Yo replied to Spunky Munky's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
the r34/m34 worked so much better together than that wagons are best left to the experts -
Poll....What type of Skyline do you drive?
Yo-Yo replied to PSI_GTSII's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
^ way to dig up an old @ss thread^ back when this thread was going I would've had an r33 GTS-t series 1 -
remove the plastic lip/cover on your boot where the latch locks in, two clips on top and three on the inner wall connecting to the carpet trim then remove the plastic clips holding up the carpet trim, you don't have to completely remove them, just remove enough clips so that you can push the trim covers out of the way this will expose 4 bolts on either side of the tail lights on the inside, loosen the bolts and remove the housing. on the driver side the power wires might be held onto one of the bolt brackets by a plastic clip which just pops out. once you have the housings out its pretty straightforward with removing the screws, be careful not to snap the little black plastic covers on the top half of the housing, you will see what I mean when you get to it, very easy to do should only take half an hour or so for the whole job

are you noticing any vibrations in the steering wheel at speed? does the steering wheel dip at different speeds or always at the same speeds you may have to get the wheels balanced in addition to a full thrust (front & rear) wheel alignment you might also have to change the tie rod ends on your suspension if the rubber bushes are worn out I had a similar issue on the highway when I had my old r34, when I would hit 110km/h the steering wheel would slowly pull right then when I slowed down it would correct itself turned out i needed new tie rod ends on the front, and then a wheel balance and alignment and the problem went away

the salesman more than likely trying to shift whatever he currently has in stock it's his job if he had a sh#tload of manuals in he'd probably do his best to offload those as for price it's always negotiable and depends on how much they want/need the sale if you want a manual get a manual, if you can't decide between them test drive both manual/auto. it's your money and you will live with the car everyday so make sure you get what you want my car is auto, the first auto box I've owned. I miss manual! so make sure you won't have any buyers regret like I do, don't get me wrong I love my car, just I'd love it more if I waited the extra 4-5 months for the manual models to get import approval as they weren't available at the time ezy03 congrats mate, hope you are happy with your car, post some pics when you have a chance

glad I garage my car, the rest of the time it's out is when I sh$t myself hope you catch the pricks doing it I had a car egged before and man was I ready to dish out justice, street justice lol

I was under the impression that only the Djetro version of the power fc did away with using afm's? personally I'd get a plumb back that also vents some, I had one on my old R34 gtt i think it was a hks ssqv if not then it was a copy while it doesn't sound quite the same as a full atmo (I actually prefer it) it does the job right and you still get that venting sound.

R34 Gtt 4 Door Stylin Bodykit - Sneak Peek
Yo-Yo replied to STYLN's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
that rear bar copies the nismo one (not to be confused with the altia kit that is sometimes called a nismo kit) but makes it a bit chunkier so it will look something like this on the back but on a 4door nd more squared off edges -
yeah you first sign a notice of ownership or whatever it's called at the dealer this covers the dealer from getting pinged if you get x11ty speeding fines on the way to the RTA the rego then goes under your name once you pay the transfer of ownership at the RTA, it's calculated as a percentage of what you bought the car for, i think 3% from memory unless they changed it again then 5% for every dollar over $45,000 or something like that
