  1. okay, long story short I won 3 5L bottles of mobil 1 0w40 question I have is would I be safe to put it in my car, which says to use 5w30 on the oil cap. I've just been using motul 300v 5w30 so far my car has a VQ37HR motor essentially same as vq35hr and done about 20,000k's so far
  2. man RTA is a major d0uchebag of an organisation I pay $130 annual fee for my personalised plates and now they charge $90 annual only for my exact type and style I knew it was a stupid idea to get them and pay an annual fee in the first place, but I splurged on buying my current car so I thought what's a bit extra? I'm now considering handing them back and going back to standard white slimlines
  3. yeah those "you never knew you were an inadequate girly man until you heard our ad, pay us money for longer lasting boning" they're freaking everywhere I'm weird, I'll listen to triple m, nova, wsfm but I mostly listen to my own cds
  4. Bwahaha completely unintentional I swear, so I will take it as a compliment... and an insult sif compare me with a pom I really am just a nerd for words... an shiet
  5. I will always have a soft spot for the AM db9 sure it's not as flamboyant or ostentatious as ferrari and lambo flabours of the week, but it has that certain timeless class that stands the test of time
  6. GTR with top secret kit, ganador aero mirrors you can buy a frontbar of the same style to suit your car, but if you want GTR guards like that you probably need to get a custom job not a cheap thing to do
  7. nope, glad to hear there's another one getting around though, I'm the only v36 owner on here so far afaik
  8. spotted one of those new EL grand thingys today driving out from supercheap auto mt druitt even in silver it looked awesome I want one!
  9. yes, but by the looks of it, it won't take into effect until next year, and even then will only effect the stupidly dangerous lowrider cars yay
  10. ooooh snap, I'll check it out
  11. I'll be away on the gold coast for my b'day celebrations otherwise I'd be there I'm sure one of you will be kind enough to show me the ropes riding shotgun with me can't wait to meet you all on the day
  12. edit: nvm, just read back a page, no 19" ftl
  13. from memory the plug for the spoiler brake light uses a white plastic alligator-type clip from the looks of it yeah it resembles a co-axial plug commonly associated with stereos, antennas
  14. yes, they use the same bolt holes for GTT/R I've posted pics of my old r34 with the gtr spoiler, just search for 'em they're lurking around on here somewhere
  15. in my old job one of our customers had BP-001 or something along those lines which were his initials apparently was being offered 10,000+ from a BP bigwig for them at the time I'm gonna register KFC-001 lol
  16. I was commenting on the other guys post, sorry I'll be more constructive for you in my opinion it's a big undertaking to remove the nismo spoiler and should only be done properly, no shortcuts. There will a total of 7 bolt holes on each rear quarter which will need to be patched up, if you are going for the wingless look the 4 bolt holes on the boot will have to be filled in as well, if you want to add a spoiler than don't worry that still leaves the 14 bolt holes which will need to be patched up for the rear quarters. welding plates behind and bogging the holes will be cheaper but rust can still happen and the rear quarters can warp if a rush job is done so paying the little bit extra for a proper job will be better for the long run (ie; the panel shop should solder the holes up, not weld plates in and bog, blend paint from the roof back etc so it was as if the car never left the factory with that ghastly spoiler)
  17. try 7 on each quarter panel and 2 on the bootlid no joke
  18. no different to putting angel eyes, so not a fan personally although.. I soooo wanna get this done to my car
  19. so are we clear on secondary bonnet restraints? will I have to tie a rope from my catch to the bonnet for the day?
  20. what a waste, if only I had enough cash to buy and then crash a ferrari
  21. fark yeah 20 min drive for me if it's at fairfield I'm in like flint
  22. no dramas, hmm I'm interested to see how you go with 6x9's, I installed fusion splits in my old gtt but they were the same size as the factory units and from memory if you want to fit 6x9s you might have to widen the holes in the parcel shelf with a dremel and make custom brackets or drill holes, the factory units use a plastic bracket that screw to the shelf hopefully if you remove those the hole left behind will be big enough when you get around to it you will see how the parcel shelf is part of the bodywork, I'm sure someone has done this before, just maybe need to search on the forum for examples good luck though
