  1. I'd be crippled financially too if I bought sweet rims like those
  2. hmm I skimmed through the link... it's all well and good we need to fill these forms out but they don't specify the costs that will be involved for an 'adjustment of records'. knowing the RTA it's going to be a rort this is all BS my springs I ordered aren't going to drop my car more than 1 inch and still be height legal, so Im not concerned about it being legal, what is pissing me off is the extra stuffing around & costs I will have to cop now it says though any AUVIS station should be able to do the inspection, which means theoretically if a motor dealer's service dept was an auvis i could just take it there?
  3. the parcel shelf is part of the body, I assume you mean taking off the cover with the speaker grills to get at the cover and remove it you need to take out the back seat first start with the bottom of the seat you have to remove the two bolts that are on the outside, it can get tricky after that as there are metal brackets that clip in on the inside of the seat, you kind of have to push the bottom seat while also pulling up, when you get it loose you will see what I mean. the back of the seats have another two bolts that will be exposed when you get the bottom off, once the bolts are off then a case of pulling the back up and out then unbolt the child restraints and the cover will slide out
  4. fark. My springs have been delayed no way I'll get them before august thanks government for giving me another reason to hate you
  5. pong. the real life version at least until my 360 comes back from warranty damn RROD
  6. I'm keen to attend this year, where have these usually been held?
  7. 21 and on my third skyline my next one will probably be a sedan skylines for life... literally
  8. nice, keep the colour they are imo, suits nicely I think I've seen you once around penrith, your car I mean
  9. ^he was probably running away from bathurst '92
  10. I've used X-treme bodykits at warwick farm for my r33 and they fitted up the gtr style wing on my r34 Jon is a good guy, he usually has 1 or two helpers fitting up kits with him but try and get Jon to do it himself good luck whoever you choose can't wait to see the pics of your bodykit fitted
  11. mate, not trying to be the fun police but I would think twice about admitting to breaking road rules, not the type of thing condoned on here another brocky wannabe bites the dust, glad he didn't hurt anyone in his stupidity, 191km/h ffs?!
  12. dunno, is it a fibreglass frontbar? I've been told they need to be painted as the gel coat would not have any UV repellant properties like paint does, thus will start peeling eventually, unless I've been mislead?
  13. it was freakin orange, or that top secret gold? I wasn't paying that much attention they measured brain activity, of course a big bright gtr is gonna get a more visual response to a beige old ute that & it's gtr c'mon on another note, how freakin tops was the GTR lap time, if only they release the specV in oz
  14. +1 I never looked into them myself, just from pictures I saw on here. I assumed they just layed them over the original upholstery, although the pictures did look like a tight fit
  15. never really noticed before, but my car comes with bracketless wipers, they're really loud when it's not very wet or just using the washer jets for a second, but they are very effective when it's raining rather heavily
  16. just a few random snaps when I was on vacation, not trying to be artistic, just wanted to share some were taken with an iphone, some with a camera got the chance to visit my old army barracks in the philippines as some parts are open to the public and is used as a tourist attraction, I didn't get the chance to see my old room and proving grounds up close unfortunately, I would've needed the proper documentation and would've had to request clearance at least a day in advance my fathers family live in Baguio city, a large city in a mountainous area in the northern philippines, the scenery is very beautiful and my pics do not do them justice, here is one example on the outskirts of the city maybe a half hour drive up the mountains another tourist attraction, an old church run by spanish missionaires from as early as the 1700s (I think) the church itself is blocked off for heritage preservation reasons, but the long stairway leading to them and the sculpture of mary at the top is still draws a lot of pilgrims they have giftshops and food stalls along the way up, it's a long climb this pic was taken from about 1/4 of the way up some pics of the hotel my family stayed at a 'jeepney' my aunt owns, they own about 5 all up, and are used as taxis. some are original troop carriers from wwII left by the americans phew that's enough from me, I'll include some more pics from when I stayed in Hong Kong when I can be bothered
  17. there is also a tiny blue downlight located near the sunglass holder on the roof so the gear stick surround is bathed in a subtle blue light at night-time. very classy addition I'll get pics of it later
  18. me personally I'm not a fan of different colour boot, the tail lights and boot cut out have an unusual shape that looks fine colour coded, but yeah just my opinion It's much cleaner to leave it as is maybe de-badge? on my old r34 I kept the skyline writing but took off the nissan badge
  19. transformed the car, looks great was fitment a big issue? leave the boot as is imo congrats
  20. to answer a few extra questions posed... rear fin came c/f not real carbon but fibreglass with c/f top, kind of like how some c/f bonnets come. wing was not adjustable, but at least it looked like it could lol wing is sturdy, I live in western sydney so pot holes are a way of life, and I'm a lead foot too, it held up very well that being said I am very iffy of carmates quality, as I said before that's as far as i'd go to putting fibreglass on my car the wing was sturdy though so I was happy with it, you could place a bit of force with your hand in the middle of the wing and it wouldn't bend I had it painted from a friend and fitted the wing myself, make sure you have some silicon or double sided tape to place around the bolt holes on the boot so no water leaks in the only one that looks good is the low mount imo
  21. spotted today a ute turned over on it's roof taking up all 3 lanes on the m4 tonight near homebush west bound around 6pm, looks like they were maybe coming from ikea from all the debris that was strewn across the highway looked pretty serious hope no one was hurt badly drive safe out there guys
  22. my old r34 had a carmate spoiler on it, get the low mount one, it does get in the way of rear vision but it's not too bad I've seen the high mount one on a GT-t and it was ridiculously high, funny looking it did the job and the bolt holes lined up so I'm happy, that's as far as i'd go to putting fibreglass on my car personally, not a fan of fibreglass bodykits
  23. harsh but I agree the gts-t ain't too bad but the wheels on that supra are an abortion wrapped in puke edit: I clicked on the pic to zoom in, the gts-t is just as bad
  24. never came up as an issue when I worked in the car game all we needed was an active ABN so that our stock controller could claim the abn rebate from the manufacturer I doubt this has changed but you can always ask the salesman 33k driveaway is an excellent price considering nissan was selling ST-R D22 dual cabs for avg. 37k driveaway same time last year with ABN, and there was not much profit left in it after that, but again I've been out of the industry for awhile now still try and push for more or some accessories though
