  1. no trade-in necessary, the ABN just needs to be active bring in a copy of a BAS or your abn certificate the reason dealers can do that is because they get a rebate from the manufacturers if you provide your abn I used to work in the industry, try and get a little more off the price or some accessories thrown in, they'll still have some margin in their car to play with, but judging by my first hand experience in nissan a year ago, at 33k a D22 navara won't have much left in it after that and while I haven't kept up to date with the current campaigns I'm guessing it's 33K + on road costs? so expect anywhere from 36K-39K driveaway if that is the case good luck
  2. you should still request if they can provide hub rings just in case. bit off topic, have you already got a quote to bring in to aus? I;m in the process of buying a set of swaybars for my car and delivery is going to cost almost as much as the swaybars themselves lol
  3. work meisters or ssr professors? that or a copy of them
  4. dead set, I was born in 1987, so while I heard the song growing up never once saw or needed to see the film clip until everyone started rick rolling, I laughed till my ribs broke the first time I saw who actually sang the song, always pictured a barry white look-alike singing that song
  5. it's no 240z looks wise but still a good looking thing in my opinion, congrats If I wasn't saving for a house that would be a perfectly acceptable project car for me
  6. hehe yeah I was being diplomatic with my comment, when I say something is "interesting" it's not my cuppa each to their own, still a nice car end of the day
  7. chrome door handles... interesting brembos too looks like a nice purchase
  8. lol didn't know there was a 'bogan' council + in burwood "good luck butchery"
  9. I'd rather something like this personally... vinyl overlay, just peel it off if you don't want it anymore, his sunroof is real btw I would never get an aftermarket sunroof personally, my old r34 had a factory sunroof and it was top quality, never leaked. Used to work in the car industry and the aftermarket sunroofs that were sold by the aftermarket girls (the one you're introduced to after you buy a car and try to upsell paint protection etc.) were shoddy as hell and looked out of place on the inside of the car. Cheapened it in my opinion might be different for companies that specialise only in sunroofs but even then how I'm skeptical don't let me deter you though, just my 2c on the subject
  10. fair enough lol, skunk22 it is then The amount of aftermarket goodies for the infiniti guys makes me jealous, can't wait until the market picks up here. I personally don't see that happening anytime soon so Sourcing from America is my only option at present
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think "Skunk2" is the actual brandname At least you guys have some choices, I'm currently looking to get over a catback system from the US as I'll be farked if I can find a Japanese parts shop that makes one, only mufflers, or their products are US market only All tuning parts are being made in the US for the infiniti boys, kind of ironic in a sense, I never thought I'd have to source tuning parts from America for japanese brand tuning parts I know eventually more parts will become available, especially now the 370z is out, I'm bored with my car already!
  12. don't forget to check the suspension too, if getting an inspection get them to specifically see if any wear and tear items like ball joints/tie rod ends need replacing bit hard to see these things unless you get the car on a hoist or on a ramp
  13. any tail lights are an upgrade from soarer ones, still looks rank though
  14. I used metalcast to coat the brake calipers on my old r34, never flaked or peeled, and no clearcoat needed too looks good I strategically painted things under my bonnet black to draw attention away when I was pulled over for 'random license checks' aka let's have a little look under the bonnet checks Mustn't be all that much of a problem for you?
  15. well, you did buy a gtr style spoiler already so why not go with the flow... only joking I got a gtr style spoiler for my old r34, both R33,R34 GTR wings rock! It's the posers who put on R badges who take it too far I completely see where you're coming from, I never built up my GT-t to try and make it something it wasn't, just wanted a clean understated but stylish look
  16. had an r33 then an r34, friend had an r32 r33 coupe definitely has the most rear legroom out of the three... but that's like saying getting punched in the nuts only slightly less painful as getting kicked.
  17. I wish mate, can't justify +4k on wheels and tyres besides, these are the first oem wheels I like, 10 spoke ftw. Even the spare tyre is made by enkei and is a 16" skinny version of a GTC 01
  18. you can buy carbon fibre covers for the r33 wing blade but exxy just for the look imo I love silver cars, my first skyline was a two-tone silver and grey r33 and silver with black would look nice too is this the look you're going for with the frontbar? and some inspiration if you wanna go c/f wingblade/silver look
  19. ^I used the leftover paint from my r34 interior respray to do the centre grill on my new car, it's the thread that keeps on threading
  20. Painted the centre of my grill metallic black, used to be all chrome which I'm not a fan of Waiting for some custom lowering springs to arrive next month and also going to powdercoat wheels black
  21. no dramas in hindsight the volt stabiliser wouldn't do anything more than just grounding wires as far as improving the shifting feel, I just couldn't be @ssed sourcing kits overseas and I don't use ebay, don't have spare time like I used to to make the wires myself so... pivot was the go, one of my mate's has a set I could look at and the wire lengths were good, ended up finding a place for every wire, good quality but pricey for what it is imo, just lucky I got mate's rates
  22. barfalicious, i've seen one of those badges for sale at autojoy parramatta, aren't they meant for cimas or something?
