  1. I have an R200 Viscous LSD from an R32 Manual, 3.692:1. Make me an offer over $200.00, I paid $450 for it, it's very tight and no slap, and feels like new.
  2. I have them on my HR30 Paul Newman and last time I had it on the road they were fine, and did what I expected of them. They controlled the springs as I would have thought, but not everyone has springs like mine. My ride quality is severe to say the least. If you got them complete from Japan, they will be set fairly hard.
  3. Just went to the T Shirt link, but don't you or wouldn't everyone think they would be better in a POLO style shirt with a collar instead of just a plain cotton T shirt. Don't you think our "SKYLINES" deserve better than a daggy cotton T shirt. :ghost:
  4. Yeh! I did, but not until after. I guilty of not reading properly. Just ordered 2 from Street - Weapons. Thanks. Just one thing though, are they internal or external stickers, as they say they're designed for rear quarter windows.
  5. WELL!!!! wouldn't it be GREAT if they were publicised, so that we all knew they were available. To coin an old phrase "WHERE DO YOU GET IT"
  6. Do we have, or should we have bumper stickers like some other forums? www.skylinesaustralia.com It will certainly promote the site and show others that may also be members. Leave me your thoughts. :ghost:
  7. Do we have, or should we have bumper stickers to show that we belong to this forum. www.skylinesaustralia.com It would certainly promote the site, as it does with others, I'm sure. Leave me your thoughts :ghost:
  8. hahahahahahaha, typical motor transport bullsh#t, they really have no idea do they. If you didn't go over 4000 around town, I'm not surprised, if you still got stock diff ratio 4.1, you could cruise around at 60k in 2nd, about 90 in 3rd, over 110 in 4th, and over 150 in 5th. Little do they know we will be cruising at under 2500 and exceeding the 60k limit in top gear (4th). Be nice to be able to jam specs in their face, just to show how stupid they are. :ghost:
  9. That's cool! but how much does he want for it and which panels? Also! is it an "Iron Mask" front like yours. On the eastern states we have to factor in freight and that won't be cheap. Let us know some prices.
  10. ALL R30 Parts are interchangeable. The DR struts bolt in, same lower ball joint & control arm, guards, bonnets, etc, everythings the same, that's why we are chasing them. The only changes are coupe doors don't fit on sedans, unless you want to cut them in half, but if it comes off a coupe, HR, or DR, it don't matter, if it's sedan, fits another sedan. etc, etc, etc.
  11. RSX, They look a little different to the JENESIS skirts. Do you remember where you found the pic? If so! email him/the site and ask some questions, or PM me the site and I will do the chasing for you. :ghost:
  12. The body kit is from JENESIS, www.r30.co.jp the front bar is identical to the one I have here in OZ that I plan to make in small numbers. The side skirts cost an arm and a leg to get here to OZ, so that moulds could be made to reproduce them locally. The rear view car has the STOCK DR30 body kit, found on most RS-X models, same as the Peter Jackson cars had in the late 80's. I am making enquiries on how to get them, or maybe modifying R31 or R32 ones to fit, so that I could market a complete body kit for R30 Skylines, strictly on a limited basis, after all, we don't want them all the same. :ghost:
  13. Thanks guys, the reaason I ask is for to make up a clutch for my RB30/25 engine. I was planning 10.5 inch VL Turbo, 1000Kg diaphram, Kevlar FULL faced clutch plate (should be more user friendly than paddle type) But if stock GTR is 1600 odd lbs, might have to look at 1200 kg maybe. I plan on having 300/400 HP at the wheels.
  14. On the strength of the imports having a/mkt systems, maybe the go would be to strangle the sh1t out of the system at the end. make up a bolt on for the rear muffler. Drop the big 4/5 inch canon and put on a restrictive stock muffler, just for testing. Let's be honwst, for testing nobody care about performance, just limit the noise. Would be a lot easier than changing the whole system.
  15. Don't think I just smart ass, but wouldn't it be better sense to make your own and keep it. If you have been pinged for noise once and you plan on going back to original after testing, surely you can see the possibility of getting done again. So! it would make sense to have your own spare stock system hanging around. My system finished will be 3.5 inch from wategate entry back. 3 inch dump, 1.75 from ext wastegate, then 3.5 all the way including the cat. I'm sure I won't pass noise levels with this, so I will have a 2.75 press bent system on hand for just these occassions.
  16. Does anyone know the clamping force of the standard clutch for either R33 GTS 25t or GTR. :ghost:
  17. ANYONE BEEN ON ebay Lately??? Full set of Koni's F & R currently $142.50 suit DR30
  18. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST PLEASE I have a set of DR30 front strut assemblies complete. Both sides, disc rotors, callipers, springs etc. PM me if interested, don't want a mud fight for them on here. SSS Automotive at Girraween NSW wants $550.00 pair
  19. PHaT MR30, The 280 x 30 Z32 upgrade will be heaps easier if you have DR30 front stuts and then you may not want your Z32 brakes as DR's are 274 x 22, single piston but a big increase on your present set up.
  20. PHat MR30, The rear tail lights are glued together, the clear over cover is glued to the base etc. As far as I am aware, they don't come apart, or at least aren't designed to. Maybe if you try breaking the bond around the sides you might get to the lenses, but would have to be careful not to break them, but then you need to be able to reseal them again. nicko, Is your R30 stock or a hottie? If stock L24E, extractors and about 2.5 system should be cool, 2.75 if using normal bending processes, if mandrel, 2.5 is plenty. Be advised though, either wrap the extracters or get them coated before installation, because heat in the engine bay is a recipe for disaster when chasing any power increase. My HR30 will have 300/400 HP at the wheels and my system is 3 inch from the cat to 1st muffler, then 3.5 back to a twin 3 inch outlet, 3.5 inch inlet muffler. Reason: As the exhaust gases cool, they expand, so the system has to increase diameter as it gets closer to the rear, to ensure the same flow rate as it leaves the engine pipes. Also, to big! will take power away.
  21. Any stocl R30 steering wheel is the same, with the exception of the horn button pad. The DR/HR has a bigger thicker pad. I have the thicker pad, as you would as well and might know where there is a good wheel, will get back to you if I locate one. The N12 Pulsar EXA Turbo Wheels is also the same, just have to change the hubs.
  22. R32 GTR fronts are relatively easy to do and not all that expensive. I am going to cost the R32 GTR rears fitment to DR30 rear next week. I will keep you all posted on the cost
  23. 280 x 30 are Z32 fronts. We still in front of you, cause we talking 296 x 32 minimum up front, it's rears that all the discussion is about.
  24. I got your drift! Bit slow today. You mean use the drive assembly from the GTR, to convert back to cable. I try.
  25. Don't have a problem getting a cable, my problem is an R33 GTS25t gearbox uses an ELECTRONIC DRIVE for the instruments, but have got a way around it I think. Will get back to you if it works.
