Hey man, What sort of mod cons do you want? You must have AIR, STEER & POWER WINDOWS, the 82 model would have these. You have the best god damn car ever built and you want mod cons as well! And with the mods you mention, a half quick one as well!!! You are difficult to please :ufo:

Some have asked before and this is my Paul Newman as it was purchased. Note the directional wheels, the dick I bought it off had directional tyres on directional wheels all going in the wrong direction. Go figure, some mother's do have em eh!!! It's now lower & different wheels. Haven't done the frontal labotomy yet, but as those pics come to hand I will post them as well

L24E ECU's play a very important part in our ecological status these days. They make VERY GOOD LANDFIL!!!!! Jap Hot Plate tail lights are RARE, try SSS Automotive or Just Jap, or Option 1 etc, try all the importers, PARTS IMPORTERS that is. All I suggest, I keeping my spare set, or hang on, what you got now? You got Genuine 84/5 Aussie Tail Lights????? Let me know if you have.

You got a Silvia too! as well as the R30??? Organised a box today, it (grille & lower spoiler) will be packed and ready to go after easter. I will PM you to confirm. My mate has an S13 180SX and his boot lid measures 1160 across, so yeh! probably, the importer in Melbourne bought them in for current model Lancers. The mounting feet were marginally narrower than the R30 Hatch width. Send me some measurements of your boot lid and rear width and I will measure the wing and let you know.

Hey! RSX, You have convinced me, the glass bar all the way. I was going to fit the same lower spoiler to mine but after seeing how yours hangs, NO WAY! got to be able to do better than that. A longer, shallower cooler would look better I think, maybe 700 x 250 or similar, very similat surface area to 600 x 300. What happened to the centre support for the grille and where your headlight washers go??? As for rear wing, I got this if your interested. See thumbnail attachment. I bought it a couple of years ago, but I don't particularly want it now, I think the series 3 R31 Silhouette wing looks better, or the Jenesis one, if I can get it here. My concern with the Jenesis wing is if it can be painted, as I think it would look sh1t on a white body. I would use the wing I have except it doesn't cover the full width of the boot lid, for that it has to be 1480mm wide and it's only 1340 something. As for a 13B powered R30, I think he's in for trouble if it stays n/a, the R30 is about 1250kg and the RX3 was less than 1000. Think the extra 250kg will kill it. I have an acquaintance with a 13B J port in a GH Sigma, single 48mm IDA Webber and it goes like F. @. &. K. E. D. > R/S to say the least. Noisy as hell, been defected 3 times in 10 months, lowered with a hacksaw blade on stock shocks, sort of a BRAIN DEAD Critter even. They got ZERO torque compared to a 6 cyl DOHC turbo. Isn't the R31 indicater back near the door behind the wheel arch. I thought this is our stock one for 84/5 models.

Adam, What I'm playing with is: 1. stock lights with iron mask bonnet & cut down stock HR grille, fill in bottom space. 2. stock lights with cut down iron mask grille 3. same as above with either standard DR front spoiler/air dam 4. same as above with my front bar/air dam. Will post the hashed results when completed. Thought I might sell my MR30 Hatch with iron mask lights, grille & standard bonnet, same as the jap guy. Would be diferent look for here.

Phat, Just been quoted $160 freight to get those bits to you and as you might guess, I bloody nearly fell off the chair, so I have organised something with a transport company I work for and it might take about a week to get there but it won't cost $160 either. Will pack it on the weekend and get it organised. Freight might be as much as $NIL, but won't know until after sent. Will let you know further when I know. As for the look, I have a damaged iron mask grille, so playing with it won't be too costly and my main thoughts are the angle of slant on the inside edge on both lights, if same, no problem. Will post results after photoshop work done.

I think this looks mean and should be no problem with RTA. As for R32 brakes, I have 16 x 7's on front and when I put the spacers in to clear the calliper, I'm going to widen the wheels IN, (make a new wider inner rim) an inch, giving me 8's all round and same front track. Getting back to mean!!! I would like to stay a little STEALTH looking, don't want to attract to much police attention. Little story for you to consider: A friend, he is 64 and owns 3 Ford GT's, 1968 XR, 1970 XW phase 2 and 1971 XY phase 3 shaker. He can drive either of the XR or XW through Sydney at any speed, he has driven the XR at 150 kph in a 60 zone and not a cop to be found, but when in the XY ph3 shaker, cops come out of holes in the ground, hang out of trees, sit up his arse, just hang off the car literally. It's just the presence the car creates, very similar in our case if a mean streeter. Just for interest sake, he recently turned down an offer of 1/2 million for the 3. How many of these would you find having less than 20K genuine each?

Anybody catch the car, right at the rear of 2001 Kanagawa Kitagawa on page 6. The iron mask h/lights & grille with stock bonnet and cut down 3 row grille. ALSO! anybody else got thoughts as to Iron Mask or Stock front, which is more appealing/sporty etc

Sorry! but don't agree. What's so special about the STOCK STANDARD front, with big headlights & grille. How is it better with this nose piece and better than PJR cars

As I see it, the LSD part of the centre is interchangeable with other R200 crown & pinions. Therefore you would use your LSD with the 260 gears, making a 3.7:1 LSD package when completed. I have a 3.692:1 (3.7) viscous LSD centre from an R32 here, that would be cheap & I'm told the centres can be swapped into the long nose case.

OK Shane, 260Z's came out with R200 mechanical open 3.7:1 standard. That would be the easiest way, get one of them & change the LSD centre to it.

No! just one PNV that is white/siver. Although, if the PNV hadn't come along when it did, my MR30 4 door Ti Hatch was going to become a 2 door. I had all the sides lined up in Japan to come over. An estimated $6000.00 was going to be the cost to make a 2 door Ti Hatch. Interesting concept eh!!!!
