1. Mobil 75W/90 full synthetic is the oil. It performs as well as Royal Purple, Penrite, Castrol etc and is readily available for top up when necessary. 2. My R200 4.1:1 is a mechanical CUSCO centre LSD with 80 odd lb preload and I have a Nissan 3.9:1 as a spare. 3. No! the car is not on the road at present, but as soon as it is I'm heading your way sort of, got to see a mate on The Gold Coast.
-
And it's the complete stubby diff assembly.
-
Mike, PM me and make me an offer. The answer to your questions is yes, as far as I know.
-
Yes it can mike, but all the new LSD's are viscous and not worth sh!t for what we do. The ratios are fairly high as well. I have a manual R32, S13 one here for next to nothing, cost me over $400 but will be glad to see the end of it. It's 3.692:1

Hi Guys, Any of the SA members that know Crimmo, would you stir him up to send me some pics of his tough looking sedan so that it can be considered for the shirt design. I also want a clear pic of a stock DR IRON MASK coupe, if someone can oblige. I don't want this to go on forever, I want to put it to bed as soon as I can so that it can be made, sent to the printers, get screens made etc. Tah!

After discounting some of the suggestions and using PM info, I think this is the go. As we only have 3 models that are popularly found in Australia, I think it's a cool way to go. www.skylinesaustralia.com R30 CLUB Then the 3 models underneath like Nissansilvia.com. The 3 models being DR30 Iron Mask 2 Dr Coupes, 4 Dr Standard Front Sedans & Hatch. How we make the models, doesn't matter at this stage, I just want agreement on a layout, then I can work up some final plans.
-
Adam, Check this out for a look. Just stumbled across it on a Jap site.
-
What about this sort of concept??? It's a take off similar to other club shirts, but just a suggestion. What you think??? A third could be a 4 dr hatch on the bottom, then all available options would be covered.

Option 1 Garage has an L20ET turbo & manifold on their web site. But needed further is wiring, ECU, etc to make it all work. More boost can be obtained using an FJ20DET turbo assembly.

Crimmo, Can you email me a pic of your car, so that I can consider it for the shirt. [email protected] Thanks

GTS 25t Tail shaft complete. How many dollars? -
I am led to believe the Grey one in HPI #43 is FOR SALE. Check it out on pages 91 & 92 Contact Ben ELLIS from HPI Magazine on (02) 9741 3858 I have seen the car in the flesh and it's a minty condition car, VERY stock, but excellent condition and asking $8-10000.00 with 85K on the clock. You would be hard pressed to find a better example and it's registered in NSW. Check it out!

OK Guys, This is our FIRST prototype, What do you think? Combines a few ideas, come back to me with your thoughts. Cheers

Anybody got a use for HR30 Electric Front Struts, complete. Got a pair in working order. FREE for anyone that wants.
-
What specs are you looking for? I can give you body dimensions, road clearance, brakes etc, but what are you looking for? The DR was just a comp version of MR/HR.
-
All R30 suspensions are interchangeable, DR, HR, MR. ### BUT ### The brakes & mounts are different. The HR & MR have the stock 250 x 18 front disc rotors and DR has 274 x 22 and the HR & MR mounts are only 3.5 inches between the centres and DR is 4.0 inches. Answer to your question is yes, but you have to change both along with the smaller brakes.

@@@@@ POLO SHIRTS @@@@@ Shirts are ALL GO! Anybody got any input, towards what they should say or look like. My ideas, SAU Logo on the front and on the back 2 cars angled towards each other with R between the cars and 30 below between the fronts and maybe SKYLINES across the bottom, or Skyline Owners. Will knock up a couple of pics and post them. Something else though, if we use the word "Nissan" or "Skyline" we/I have to get permission from Nissan. Cheers

The R33 GTS25t gearbox has the same ratios as the GTR. 1. 3.214, 2. 1.925, 3. 1.302, 4. 1.000, 5. 0.752:1

Maybe this might be his style LOL -
Does anyone know the bore diameter of the R32 brake master cylinders? GT, GTSt & GTR. Thanks

If you went back a few pages to the link rsx84 posted about the Japan R30 Meeting, it was then discussed on wether these flares were available here??? I simply say, they are and from where. R31 Skyline Club are getting them made locally (Sydney). I don't think they are necessary either, but I won't know for sure untill I get my camber on the rear wheels sorted out. Once I get the rear wheels to zero or -1 max, I won't know if they are needed. I have 16 x 8's on now and they sit fine, neatly inside the body without rolling the guard lip, and the wheels are +38 offset, (std is +25) and I still clear the coilovers on the inside. I don't know if I can get 9's on, but I will see later down the track.
-
How it such an overwhelming engineering feat? Main journal size only difference.
-
They are! BUT!!!! if you go to the Jenesis site, www.r30.co.jp and open the BODY link, you will find "Fender Trims" and the picture of the carbon bonnet shows them, they look identical to these R31 flares. I don't know if we need them unless using huge wheels, like 9 inch + wide. I am not going to fit them until after the adjustable rear goes in, to see if & when the rear wheels are at zero camber and toe, how they sit in relation to the body, and I have 16 x 8's all round. Cheers. :ghost:

With the help of a lot of people, I went through the exercise a couple of years ago and found the result, totally untractable, as it wouldn't idle under 3000 revs. Firstly, the RB30 has a non balance related HARMONICS problem at about 7500 and to go higher, which was necessary to attain the HP required, it is necessary to push through 7500 ASAP. My goal was 300+ rwhp. And special things had to be done and cubic inches isn't the answer. We had an RB30 block, bored 1mm o/size, RB26 crank and rods, for optimum rod ratio for high reving n/a engine, RB26 head and induction system, including 6 throttle bodies. Capacity 2760cc. 600cc injectors, Z32 AFM, Q45 throttle body, custom extractors, custom forged pistons 13.5:1, Inlet cam over 350 degrees, exhaust cam about 340 degrees and at 10700 rpm we had 342 Kw at the fly. Our decision was to scrap the plan as it was impossible to drive this on the road and we went TURBO. Cheers.
