  1. Yep, looks that way. Never driven an E30 or R31 so I can only imagine
  2. I particularly like the look of the John Player Special team. (Thumbnail isn't different but hit play for the clip)
  3. Such a cool collection of cars back then.
  4. Dang I looked at this for so long until I realised it was for the inner rod. I was so confused. This looks like a great tool. Another injected plastic box for my collection. I for one am a torquer. I'm far too anxious and neurotic to not use the correct torques whenever I can. I do honestly feel like my wheels will fall off if I dont.
  5. I was wondering about this. I'll do some research.
  6. Yeah this confirms what I was thinking. Volks are worth a crap load more than my M Sport 17s and 2500 is nuts! 240 is crazy cheap, was this 20 years ago? I have a fairly good air compressor so I'm tempted to get an eBay sand blaster.
  7. Has anybody had their wheels refurbished? I reckon it's likely bloody expensive. Even a sand blasting quote for my 17s was 200-300 per wheel! The E39 wheels are basic BMW M Sport (or M Tech at the time.) they have slight rash and some have signs of bad repair in the past on the lips. The main issue is that they've become really off coloured. I think it will be too much as this is definitely (supposed to be) a budget resto. I've been looking at others for sale but they all have some minor damage and colour issues. In the end I think I'll just need to sand blast them myself and do a respray.

  12. I send my ChatGPT account some funds to purchase some.
  13. This ad for Pirellys is still live. Maybe they are actually a thing?
  14. Yeah I agree! He sounds like he actually gives a shit.

    G'day!

    Welcome! We're not all grumpy.
  16. This is insane! The M1 likely to be closed for the entire day! https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-05-02/m1-motorway-delays-as-metal-shards-cause-flat-tyres-/105242272
  17. @GTSBoy I logged in to PF and searched there. Couldn't find anything. I wonder if its got anything to do with the sponsorship from AS ?
  18. And @GTSBoy I also see zero results for site:performanceforums.com
  19. All good, I'm happy to avoid. They are not confidence inspiring in their branding or info. In the meantime I managed to find a seller with Bosch sensors who advertises them for 1997 - 2000 which obviously includes pre and post 9/98. So that makes me happy, I'm much happier with Bosch.
  20. For folks playing along, I'm aware that >9/98 was the M52TU with a bunch of changes (including double vanos) but I'm hoping for the same o2 sensors.
  21. Yeah cool, this is precisely what I was concerned about. I'm going to try and find what is different between >9/98 and <9/98. Gut says nothing. Thanks!
  22. I need 2 new pre-cat O2 sensors for the 528. I'd like Bosch but they're all for >9/98 and I'm a lowly 6/98 build. There's not many other options available unless I go cheap Chinese and I'm not keen to do that. Genuine BMW is an option too but they'll likely cost more than the car is worth. Automotive Superstore and Autobarn sell PAT O2 sensors. I know nothing of this brand but they're a little pricey (~$160ea @ AS) and that usually tricks me into thinking something is better than it is Any opinions here? Thanks.
  23. On the Google app on my phone. Its not as bad as some, tyroola dont need to bother now with tyresales out of the market.
