  1. Theres not many things better than white R32's. Car is gorgeous. Welcome to
  2. Hi Christophe and welcome! Yep, as Duncan said there are lots of topics on the RB30 conversions. Where would you source and RB30 block though? Was anything delivered locally with this engine? Car looks great!
  3. If you join online and do the time trials they pay a lot! I'm getting 1M credits weekly by getting silver in the time trials. 2M for gold (which is far too difficult for me).
  4. One of these for example; https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2010-infiniti-g37-s-auto/SSE-AD-14638891/?Cr=0
  5. I'm kinda outside my comfort zone here but is there any english Infiniti models that have the same screen? You could at least get english this way even if not the sat nav. Otherwise you could still consider getting an android one. The one I have in my E90 is actually pretty good. I just use Android Auto on it and if I want to I can display live data from my OBD2 dongle. (That said, don't buy a no name one or one with not much memory, I had one before this that was absolutely terrible and thankfully I was able to get a refund)
  6. You guys still playing? I got myself a wheel and pedals. I love it, mainly online multiplayer but the penalty system is frustrating as hell. The online time trials are awesome. Assetto Corsa Competizione is amazing but much more difficult. If anybody wants to add me as a friend I am Prizank
  7. EDIT: Ok, I see the brown wire goes outside the housing. So, 2 more q's - can you find a relay or switch? And, is there even a terminal to connect the brown to?
  8. Plug a bulb in and see if you get what you need with just red and black. I can't see where the brown wire goes. What is it connected to? See if you can trace the red (and black maybe) into the engine bay and check for a relay or do the wires go straight to the switch?
  9. Tried to get up my mother-in-law's driveway on the weekend, its a very tight turn into a very steep ramp and I couldn't do it. The passenger side just spun and spun and I had to leave the car down the bottom and walk up. This will be a great test after I install the LSD conversion.
  10. From what I understand these are a direct descendant of the Phantom Grip units.
  11. Yikes. Any RWD reviews for sensible owners?
  12. I kinda feel like if it gives me another 30 - 40% traction (just some numbers thrown around on forums) then its going to be great. I'm not rocking big power, after everything is done on the car i'll be around 400HP. Also, if this destroys my existing diff (I've seen a video of one exploding but jury's out on the cause) then I'm only down a few hundred to replace.
  13. Yeah I've had no need to touch the HPFP yet thankfully. I'm surprised Turner supply them! I get everything from FCP, not only do they only sell quality, they have a lifetime warranty on all parts they sell. 😬
  14. This is a great video on how well they hold up and how it actually works. I'm almost sold. It's around $500 delivered.
  15. LSD options for my 335i are scarce and ridiculously priced, they also usually require some kind of customisation to shafts. Yes, I'd like to swap an LSD but its not in the top 1000 things that I need to spend money on. What I'm wondering about is one of these; https://racingdiffs.com/products/bmw-e46-e90-e92-e39-e60-lsd-conversion-set?variant=33548118491271 I've watched install videos and reviews and while they're not as good as a proper LSD they do provide a fair bit of assistance in keeping both wheels spinning. I'm a little concerned about doing diff damage with it although this doesn't seem to be an issue for others. I'd just like some opinions. Christian
  16. 100%!! Majority of my parts are now OE quality from FCP Euro in the states. I've had a few instances myself of cheap Chinese knock-off parts just causing more pain over the long term. Throw in that I plan to keep my cars for a long time and it just makes sense.
  17. Legendary N52 powered 330i for sale. Only 103,000 k's on the clock. Some of the cars' history can be found here I'm asking for $12k. Selling because I do a TOTAL of about 200k's per month and I have 2 cars to do it with ATM. Money going to my almost-17 year old's first car. Carsales ad is here https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/bmw-3-series-2006/sse-ad-16472646/?23=
  18. Yeah, direct injection downsides I guess. There are many port injection kits available but my car does such few k's that a clean on its own will go a long way. Did you replace the sensors?
  19. Oh, I also used some new Redstuff pads. Very impressive though I didn't really give them much of a hard time. The DBA T2's I ordered for the front didn't arrive in time so I'm keen to see how well they pair up when I put them on next week.
  20. Had a track day at Pheasant Wood on Tuesday which was awesome. There were 4 of us in total, 1 car broke halfway through the day and 1 wasn't running until half way through the day so my mate and I almost had the track to ourselves. 2 issues popped up for me tho; 1. I would lose all boost for a few corners every now and then. No errors, just no power. It would come back eventually. This is apparently a common occurance where the wastegate actuator arms get stuck open. Hopefully easy fix with some high temp grease. 2. If I pushed hard when the day was at its hottest (~33 degrees) the car would throw a boost leak code and go into a semi-limp mode (still driveable, similar to other issue, like I'm driving with no boost.) So I have a boost leak somewhere. Was a bit frustrating but even with 80% throttle I managed a 1:08. My mate did a 1:04.4 in his 130i. I have ordered some billet diverter valves as it makes sense that the OEM plastic ones might fail in high temp conditions. I'll also double check all intercooler piping as I have replaced both the cooler and the charge pipe. Its a bugger that I can't troubleshoot this easily on the road. Just need to try to fix some stuff and hope that the next track day is better. Duncan, I was wondering how far from here you were?
  21. Grab some M3 front control arms. Easily the best bang-for-buck upgrade to the suspension.
  22. Welcome! As @Shoota_77 said, I think you'll find a few folks on here who have GTR's on long service leave.
