Absolutely agree. For similar reasons as @GTSBoy pointed out: long nose, short deck. 😍 But while production did start in 99, I don't see this as a "90s" car.

Only non pop-up NSX and that didn't happen till the 2000s so your point is moot.

Its a fact. On appearances alone, the FD takes the cake. It has aged better than all the other JDM master pieces of this era and is still absolutely gorgeous. I include the 2000 model year also which is the crème de la crème of the FD. Followed closely by the R32 GTR. Convince me otherwise. ☠️

I have a small lip on the boot of the E90 and I've been toying with the idea of trying to mould it in to the boot to remove the gaps. I guess shaving the seams? No idea what the terminology is here. What I'm wondering is, if it's current double sided taped down, what would I do to more permanently attach it so it makes a good base for the filler? It only has edges so no way to bolt it down unless I add some braces. I've done a lot of fibre glassing in my time so that's nice and easy but I'm not sure what my options are here. Sorry, this is the best pic I have and I'm 4 million ks from home ATM.

Thats why I was asking, there'd been a fair bit of discussion in the E90 world about vents and where it makes sense to put one (ie, over the filters is not great as that is inline or slightly behind the struts and in higher pressure area). I struggle with air flow and pressures. It sill weirds me out that a radiator in the boot can work.

Forgive the potentially silly question but are the vents for bay temps? I've been toying with how to reduce my bay temps because man, it gets HOT in there and a small subtle vent somewhere I think might help. Or, maybe they're to assist with just the intake temps?

How do you guys dispose of old shocks? I have a few I want to get rid off, but they're definitely still holding pressure. My local council has no info and the tip says No Deal.

How much clearance is under the car? We have speed humps being added everywhere around me. Faster than they fix the potholes, thats for sure.

Thanks Duncan, HART is only 10 mins from me (I did my bike license there), it'd be awesome if it ran these types of things. Sutton Road does look good and they take fewer cars than SMSP which is good. Surely you have enough land to lay a few million tonnes of concrete and some sprinklers D?
