Whats with the rear wheel burnout in a GTR? excellent burnout but dont get it....am i missing something? btw had a fairly average night best et was 13.65 but i guess being consistently getting under 14.....until next time...

i have a real cheap set of work rims. reason is one rim is damaged, slight cosmetic on the front and a decent dent on the back, should be fixable. has alot of tread too. let me know if u r interested in pics

but i have had a run in with some dodgy cops....i was lectured for 5-10 minute when i was pulled over for a "random" breath test, i wasnt speeding or doing anything stupid and was just pulled over and lectured that skylines are too powerful, skylines kill ppl, skyline bad this, skyline bad that...i dont think i should have copped that for just my choice in car...

sorry to hijack thread but I plan to do some mild mods but reading this thread has got me a little worried. Im aiming for 200rwkw. 169 at the moment with split dump pipe, 3" system and 5" cat. was planning to throw on a fmic and raise boost to 12psi for dyno/drag. someone mentioned that the stock clutch fails at 180kw and the stock ecu wont get to 12psi. Also what is this remapped stock ecu? cost? where to get it done? Thanks

mate 14.1 is pretty damn quick...took me like 8 runs to break into the 13's and i scrapped through 13.979

siddr20 yeah i got a 13.426 on semi slicks. 60ft 1.997 and 103.5 mph. i have a full turbo back exhaust. its a split dump pipe with 3" system with a 5" hi flow cat. no other mods except a pod. but i really can only take what the previous owner told me. he imported it april 06 and did nothing with it, so maybe something else has been done, but i doubt it cause the power isnt too huge. i did a 13.700 on my 19" which has a 60ft 2.018 at 102.5 mph. there is still some time with the current setup will the slicks, hope to drop another .1-.2 off the time. the more time i go to the drag the quicker im getting so time will tell.

I launched at 4500 rpm on slicks and spun the wheels....cant see how yours would grip at 6 grand....

Mate no praise of Tempe Tyres from me....bought a set of rims and tyres, found out there was a manufacturing problem with one of the tyres, took it back and they would help me. felt like bad wheel balance and allignment. Tyre wasnt round...

i couldnt get my hands on some stockies so im running on my 19's. I so wanted to see how much time id take off with the stock rims, mine prob weigh 10kg more each....maybe not quite that much, but u get the idea. what kind of mods have u done to your car?
