  1. is there any full replacement ECU for an auto rb25det.
  2. it has fixed itself again, but no i would turn the car off and then when i had to drive again it was still there, in the end i parked at my GF's work to pick her up, i parked on a hill with the front of the car facing down and then 10 min's later when we left it was back in normal drive mode?? i'm thinking there was no trans fluid in the torque convertor?? thats all i can think of.. cheers for the reply..

  4. spotted a sliver S2 i think (only saw the side and back) at helensvale heading onto the motorway towards NSW, i was in the r31 sitting behind you from the lights... you've got a very tidy looking car there...
  5. any ideas as to why an r33 auto trans would only select 2nd gear when in drive, have no kick down funtion and feel like an almost burn't out clutch?? these are the symptoms my car has, but there only every once and a while, take today car has been doing this since tuesday morning today it started doing this then after i had stopped at a servo it went back to normal driving mode, then while driving it went back into 2nd byitself and stayed there... any ideas as to what part of the transmission might cause this problem? its a wiring issue i'd say but what part...   6. i paid $1600 for a set of p1 racing 1's 2 1/2 years ago, 17" x 8 and 17" x 9, i'd say the 16" would be cheaper still, i think www.powerplayimports.com are the aus licence holder on buddy club, if you went P1 Racing II's ones with dish, you may as well double the price...this is with out tyres Matt..
  7. HKS offer a mounting bracket to allow the rb26 plenium and throttle bodies to be mounted on the rb25... around the $1000 make i think? how is the L24 mounted in the c210 diferently to the L24 in an r30?

  9. was that you, sorry mate i'm at work i can't answer, i was asking as i have the reds in my r31 and they are internal adj, the orange are surrpost to be extrenal adj, i have the orange in the HR30 at the moment, cost about $1300 (4 years ago) for them so $100 for the rear is a brilliant price...

Its an enthusiast’s car...... going by the picture (gold wheel centres) i remember it for sale in a car yard about 4 years ago with a sticker price of $19,000, if its the same as the one rob was talking about and it has 8?,000 on the clock then its a good price at $16,000. the last one i saw for sale at the japenese auctions had a starting price of $15,000aus, if you do go ahead i have a spare autospoiler with a mate in sydney that should be on its way to me soon.   12. thanks for the info guys, the reason i ask is i got the rear brakes and rotors as a package when i bought the fronts, been specking to a bloke from the ozdat forum, he offers a package for the datto 1600 for around $600 so thought id look into what can be done for the r31, with the package they offer they have a seperate handbrake system, have a look.... http://datsport.com/Datsun_510_R32_rear_di...nversion_A.html this would be more of an option for the HR30/31 with the IRS rear end i'd say..
  13. looking to get an idea on how the hand brake works at the calipar on an r32 skyline. basically wanting to see what needed to be done to get it working on an r31 skyline... things like: is it cable or some other system? is it a part of the calipar? Cheers, Matt...

  20. Spotted my first V35 skyline the other night here on the gold coast, just for good measure, i only noticed it besause it was hanging the ass end out after pulling out of a servo.
  21. firstly the r200 LSD is the standard diff.... you have to remember they are a 20+ year old car now, look for the general things first, rust in the wheel arches, window lips and the boot... if its a 2door then check the rubber seals between the windows, major hassel to replace... Price can very depending on year, condition, non turbo/turbo version 2/4 door, its realy what your willing to pay.. parts are a mixture of easy and very hard to get... after market parts... engine wise not hard as you have places like www.fj20.com and datsun clubs who love the FJ.. suspension is another thing, custom or imported for coilovers $$$ or you can convert to s-13 for around 2/3s the price of imported or customs.. hope thats a help..
  22. is it the rotory one or the horizontal version? if you want i have the fuel and turbo side of the HR30 cluster you can have, its just the insturments i've removed from my cluster.....
  23. i just bought a new autometer gauge the other day and it came with a new sensor, identical to the one in any rb engine.. i'd say yes to your question...
