Trying to fill up today and finding: Woden BP being out of stock of 98 premium Braddon BP being out of stock of 98 premium, both being at 149.9 Jamison BP being out of stock of 98 Premium, but it was a bargain at 168.9 if I could of bought it anyway Bought Mobil 98 at Braddon, according to him all BP's are out of premium today. What really gets me? Knowing it'll probably be in stock tomorrow, at 156.9 or 159.9 at each servo

Unless your already down on the list don't think Dereck will accept anymore. As with 10 people the skidpan day is already pretty full, and we'll probably be restricted to 3 15 minute runs each and a short 5 minute run or something like that. But probably best to pm Keith (BNR32T) about this

Overall the day went well, unfortunately a number of people didn't show up , too much partying at skyfire? lol. Anyway, did take some pics, but didn't really come out that well. Ended up having around 13-14 cars or so, good to see the Dr30's. Thanks to Mick again for the Federal tent and John for organising the drinks. Would of been BBQ'd ourselves without it. Would of been good to have the 34 gtr turn up like last year, but didn't happen. The event did seem a bit quieter on a whole than last year, got a bit mystified but the organisers saying they'd lock in our cars lol, due to safety concerns, at least they didn't do that in the end.

Like I've said Before BP Jamison are the suck, only time I actually will fill up there is if I'm running bone dry, and then only 5 or 6 litres, bloody rip off merchants, I know they cant do anything about prices, but charging 26cents extra for premium is a joke, i won't go on any further.

Thanks for that John, yeah that's pretty much it, since Baconer can't make it in the morning, anyone else able to make it? to turn up early? I don't think it'll be a big issue, I may end up turning up early at the museum and then head off to the display early, if no one else puts their hand forward. Will be spending most of today cleaning the car lol.

Welcome to the boards, nice car. There is normally a regular friday night meet around 9:30pm, at the national museum, just basically a get together and chat. There is also shannons wheels expo on this Sunday on the lawns in front of old parliament house. There will be a fair few SAU people there.

You can go when you need to, probably best to park where you can get out quick though.

Up to you but its meet at the museum between 8am and 8:30 leave as a group to go to the show around 8:40 or so. Or turn up to the show when your rdy.

I talked to Mick about the Tent at the Dyno day, he is still bringing it, not 100% sure on the time. I'm sure he'll say, at Marques we didn't have the tent set up until 9:30-10, and no one got too burnt by the sun before then. My mobile currently is fuba, but I will see if I can get a cheap replacement before the show if anyone has to call me. In regards to order, im not really fussed, perhaps we can arrange them by 32's 33's etc etc. Our arrangement was ok at Marques. Probably a good idea to park the cars back to back again as well. I take it mine are either the non turbo lights or the gts4 non projector lights, as they have no clips. Anyone actually done up any clips on these before?

I have the little skyline writeup book somewhere, will see if I can print it up before hand and stick it up on some cardboard or something to display on the day, to show a bit of the differences between the generations. Or if someone has a display board I can put it on that'd be great, I think its about 6-8 A4 pages long. Just to confirm who is bringing the banner?

Since there only appears to be two interested including me, unless other people express interest, will go the detailing day off, will probably end up going to carlovers on Saturday morning or hand wash it then detail. It is a good day though to learn a bit off everyone else, in regards to detailing tips.

Is this a go or a no go? I'm ok for spending some time detailing the car on saturday.

Not too late, its more a record of who's turning up for our sake, I did put us down for 25 cars, but I don't think we'll get that much, it's pretty casual a show, if people need to leave early on in the day that's fine too. Just if people are going can you please copy the list from the front and then add your name, any other people who want to come just copy the list from the previous poster.

Looks like you guys had a good time, would of liked to go, but wasn't really up to another full day out in the sun. next time for sure.
