I'm with Dan, tune what you have now in the GTR and make it fun. Make it a responsive daily, keep it neat and clean. Push the envelope of stupidity (fun/power/shits and giggles) on the S15. I have no idea what fuel system you have in the 15, but I'd likely put the one in the GTR into the 15, and just run a decent intank pump in the GTR for street/cruise/muck around. If you take it to the track, just keep the tank full. If you keep dumping money at the GTR you'll never finish the S15 and it will just devalue and end up rotting away.

The first thing to always do, is work out what you want to achieve with the car. Is it going to be for drag racing? Circuit racing? Daily driving? Midnight runs through Natio? Having all out bullshit crazy power can make any car less fun to drive if for example you want to drive spiritedly through Natio, because it'll be a lag monster, and then you'll be fighting wheel spin on already low grip roads. It would also make it useless for circuit work if you want to do that, and it means in a 0-80kmh run without a big launch or rev up, the p plater in his mums commodore is likely to beat you. For a street all round package, a hugely responsive package, that has wicked suspension, big brakes and grumpy tyres is king. It's also going to be decent at the drags, and on the circuit and killer through the Natio. My "ideal" GTR that's a great all rounder would be something like Eric's R33. I have no idea what Piggaz car is currently like to be able to comment if it'd also be suitable. PS, I've made the mistake of chasing power, and power is useless if you can't use it all or it's not available when you want it. Though, fourth gear rolling skids on the freeway are both fun and f**king scary...

The fuse panel, is that an OEM part rewired, or did you buy a bare fuse/relay panel? -

Wasn't white line rebuilding them at least back in the day? -

I'm a fan of blistein, and if they were well sorted and it drove nicely, why chance it? -

So you don't want to come play with even some basic magic parts like this? -

Brett, every single light should be on a independently switched circuit too, and maybe some coloured LEDs, and power points every 30cm... Ha ha ha let him wire his own lights in Piggaz... Or should we be concerned it'd be just another flood light tek screwed to the roof? -

Fill the big garage with lights. One can never have enough light in a garage ha ha -
Mine flows 600 kalamata olives per millisecond. Still only making 250kalamata watts at the wheels so, so the other 350 olives per millisecond are just getting cooked being pumped to a heat source and back. Should I add a cooling rack in so that I can eat the cooked olives safely or just blow on them before consuming?

Err, if you used washers, we'd see them. The washer gets bigger when the fitting gets bigger just like with a nut and bolt. Washer is always larger diameter than the nut/fitting. Visibly you have none. Benny, you had some "none mint" items be pointed out in your "mint" car, the photos speak greater words than those you're typing. You have once again become the laughing stock of SAU. You claim one thing, and post photographic evidence stating the opposite. good work son, keep it up, I and the other boys haven't had as good of a laugh like this in a while

Hey Brett, For lights in the garage, head to bunnings, they have cheap dual tube 2ft and 4ft fluros, then swapthe tubes over for "daylight" coloured tubes. Grab an extension cord per fluro, cut the female end off, and wire it into the fluro, couple of screws each and full daylight everywhere in the garage. I find it great for getting rid of shadows around work benches etc. In my old garage I had a 4ft single tube smack over the workbench, and another over the engine bay. Was magical! -
Random rego question NSW/VIC
MBS206 replied to No Crust Racing's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Walk into RMS, hand the plates in, sell it unregistered. Don't even bother having to pay more to change rego and pay stamp duty bullshit etc. What you pay extra is going to be equal to the drop in price you give selling unregistered. Sign piece of scrap paper stating you sold it to new owner. Have done a few times before. -
I think you might find even though gate goes around cat, there's still a lot of exhaust and hence flame going through the cat. You just have to look at the size of the ports on the wastegate, a lot smaller than the main exhaust, yet changing that exhaust to a smaller size really robs power shows that most of the exhaust is still in the main body. For noise, a nice big mid muffler, for smell, well, can't help you there Ha ha. E85? my exhaust I ran on the 25/30 was 3" straight through, TD07S to muffle it down, then it had a 5" inch mid muffler that was 950mm long IIRC, and a 7" rear muffler that was 550mm long IIRC (all custom made). You could hear the actual engine over the exhaust, quiet as shit. It also meant all the turbo noises were super loud and awesome! God I miss the rush as that thing used to come on boost
