  5. I have an angle grinder, and a welder. You supply the new metal, and I'll supply the "she'll be right mate"
  6. Bull shit, I've been to numerous track days, have ended up losing lots of items, especially oil! So have many users on here have lost things too! Oh wait... You meant from people stealing them and not their engines pumping their internals out... Yep, carry on! SAU Track days, probably the safest place to leave tools laying around/lend tools out!
  7. Picture of that turbo does not do it justice to how large it really is!
  8. That is the weirdest logical decision that insurance could ever make... :S I can understand if they've got roll cages/other safety features to allow them to run with normal cars. But mud guards allowing them to move from an open wheel group to a normal car group... So odd! Mud Guards don't make them any safer! But then, that is insurance for you! LOL
  9. Let me know if you'd like the name of this doctor so you can get a referral if wanted. My only gripe with going to this specialist... It near on costs just as much in parking as it does to see him! (Although the parking cost is out of his control). I'll ask my partner tonight what allergy medication she's on, but she stays on it all the time, supposedly it helps build the strength of the drug up in the body.
  10. My partner has a severe dust allergy, as well as a mild cat allergy. Her allergies were to the point that just sitting in her house, I've had to guide her around the house as she just can't see. She got in to see a specialist around May of this year, and they have turned everything around dramatically. While she now does take allergy meds morning and night, they've also had her on drops, which she takes morning and night. The purpose of the drops is to actually build her body up to being used to the dust/cats - One of the reasons she needs to be on allergy medication day and night (She takes a tablet in the morning, and a nasal spray morning and night). The drops she is meant to be on for 18 to 24 months before it will be in full effect, BUT we've both noticed, even if she forgets to take her allergy meds these days her reactions are now 1/10th the severity. Getting to the specialist, and doing the tests is a must do in my opinion. Also the drops aren't overly expensive and you don't need to see the specialist every month (Her current appointment gap is 5 months), if you need more drops (Which a bottle lasts 2 months), you call up, and they send a bottle to you. (Well her specialist does) and the drops work out at just on $1 per day... Unfortunately her specialist is in Sydney and might be a bit far for you to travel.
  11. He could spell it Matthew too...
  12. Electrical ones... Lol
  13. Have they fixed the issue of the golf autos eating themselves like they used to?
  14. You'll most likely find that as your BC uses a ball and spring, its boosting, spring opens you reach boost. you shift, boost source drops, sprig closes the ball shut but traps pressurised air between the BC and wastegate actuator forcing the actuator to stay open, hence slow to get back on boost. check the boost controller, after the ball/spring setup is there a small hole for air to bleed back out of? If not, there is your problem
  15. Thai darts... Also very different...
  16. Now that's one hell of a line up!!!
  17. You people and no love for a g-clamp/multi grips!

  20. Even with a power hole, still does a wicked skid
  21. where was said half cage from?
  22. In all honesty it was probably close to making a legit 200 - 210RWKW. If they did push fuel pressure up and really did make 230RWKW (Would likely want more boost though to do so) then you would have had a region where the AFM hit maximum, and a hell of a lot of fuel gets dumped in, your AFRs would drop lower, and by the time you reach redline you'd be at your wanted AFR
  23. 230KW is also out of AFM and I believe also injector duty, without dramatically raising the fuel pressure.
