Geez! Well that escalated quickly... LOL The reason I wrote that there, was because the whole panel gaps thing was from a thing Benji started, and I was the one who copped a ban before Clint did because of that Panel Gaps thread and it was written there in jest, LOL

The Abomination: [Wtf033]
MBS206 replied to Captain Natro's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Okay! I'll take that challenge... But I know I'm already nearly a full second quicker then you -
I'll take 200 nicks over one Benji any day of the week! (Personal preference that is people, so it's not defamatory or picking on any one! It's just like me saying I'd take 200 RBs with Spun Bearings over a single Rotor any day of the week!)

It's okay, we don't let Nick reflect badly on you... You are from NSW originally after all...

I'm going to jump in on this here. If you're changing to a thermo fan because it's getting hot while driving, your fan ISN'T the problem. Why do I know this? Because a thermo fan, or a hydarulic fan CANNOT move as much air as what your car can while being driven at 30KM/H. If it's over heating, you need to find out WHY. I did a skim of your mods before, but I don't remember them. If you have a new radiator in it, it may still be the culprit, alot of the alloy radiators don't disperse heat properly. Your thermo may be dicking out. Your water galleries may be partially blocked. You may have air in the system. What's sitting in front of the radiator? Is the air con condensor blocked up with dirt and not letting air through? Have you thrown a HUGE FMIC in front of both of these items and are impeeding air flow? Big thing that could save you a LOT of hassles, is some simple ducting, force all of the air that is coming through the front bumper bar, to HAVE to go through the radiator. If it's like 99% of the cars around, a lot of the air is able to go AROUND the radiator. If it goes around, it doesn't cool it down. Also what's the shroud on the back of the radiator (Between radiator and engine) like? Does it have big gaps around it? Cracks in it? I've been looking at what to do with one of my cars that will be a purely track car only, and one of the things I'm looking at is NOT having any cooling fan on it, it's going to do hill climb/time trials, so there's no sitting for long periods with the car idling etc etc. Moving car moves way more air than the fan will, so it won't be an issue. Also, if you add more electrical items, it means a bigger drain on the electrical system, which adds load to the alternator, which adds load to the engine also. Just that it's even less efficient then the hydaraulic fan.

LACHLAN! Leave the poor girl alone! She doesn't need to be molested in her own thread! Wait until she comes to our thread full of Gypsy Cuddles first!

Halve your curren asking price and then you "might" have some interest from people. -
A lawsuit up there ass would sort that out. And then I'd point them in the direction of Adaptronic... But I may be biased... LOL
-
Did you drug him? You totally drugged him, hence why you have his keys... Yeah, was just thinking the same... Maybe this is why his tuner has kept his car? So he can't take it to track days and make others crash...
-
If engine runs still, why not take it to the track now and wear the engine out fully, and then do a transplant? Saves you the cost of a rebuild.

I'm already aware that I need extra garage space so that I can acquire a spare shell ahead of time for WHEN I bend mine... Hill climbs - The dangerous life yo!

Aren't the nitto pump gears a billet gear?

Well from Drag days (Street cars) I've been at, it's been 2 from 2 crashing. Been to many many many more circuit days, and only seen 3 cars crash at the circuit. 2 of those involved proper race cars, not street driven ones. That tells me enough But not 100% stats, but from what I've seen even watching our own motor sport section from guys club level racing with street cars. More damage drag racing, whether it be into walls, or things assploding and destroying panels.
-
Erm... Actually you'll find more cars are written off at a club level drag racing than circuit racing...

You mean 14 seconds. My stock car is faster than nicks by nearly a second!
-
I don't... All he is really saying is "I can't drive fo shit and I'm going to blame it on being protective of my car" If it aint up and dancing around as you come outta corners, you ain't trying hard enough! Even more fun when it's someone elses car... Hai Shell... *waves*

Oh and going into management is if I don't end up going back to development work.
-
Oh and who ever mentioned excel, flick it my way. One MS product I love and can make extensive things in!
-
yeah it's not bad, but in my area it's getting boring.I used to do a lot of dealing with suppliers also, had some good contacts there but they streamlined our company a bit more and that part was taken off me to allow me more time for selling. I really want to move more into a management role but more so like it manager at a medium size company.

i do from opportunity arising, to the point order is placed, at which point acquisition of goods is handed to another department.I then run hand over to technical and they manage install.
