  1. No the RB30 head will flow about 300HP, more than the standard AFM can take.
  2. its quite easy for you to get out of your above suspension. The restrictions are placed on a specific license the same as a things like requiring glasses are.Your license had no turbo restriction on it. Sounds like you may have not communicated with the police officer in a nice enough manner/were doing something else apart from "just driving".
  3. across the road from there can't be built in for anything. Crash zone for the air port. The next property behind that my father leases part of, council won't let them build even one house on there, why? It's in a 15 year plan to expand west dapto down there. Ten there's the low lying flood ground that could be ideal just off the Illawarra highway... Wait... Ball is in motion to put the freeway from cleary bros near shell cove through there and back on at yallah to bypass Albion Park. Wollongong has no room for a drag way. EOS.
  4. Never ha an issue with a GTST missing AC gear Also the rad support if like an R33 is welded in.
  5. I set mine up yesterday, seems I missed setting it up correctly, when the card got full it just stopped recording. Downloading the software now to see what the vids are like after I played with some settings to see if I can get auto deletion going.
  6. 3 to 4K for an ECU and tune? You're getting ripped off.
  7. BA XR6T can probably be had at 10K now...
  8. You need to go to MDTC, and then tell me how it won't get your adrenalin going.
  9. If I had some spare cash, these would probably be gone now.
  10. Just hit the fuel pump with a hammer and she'll be right hey?
  11. Will be interested to see this thing go in a couple of weeks. You will have it ready right?
  12. Unbolt engine and gearbox. lift it up slightly, pull it forwards, give yourself 6 inches to unbolt gearbox. Slide gearbox off engine and out of car. Lift engine vertically.
  13. Make sure you drop the sump. If it's out, might be worth changing the oil pump too to something like a Nismo.
  14. No, the LT1. And how are chev oldschool?
  15. Stay twins, and it's not hard to do in the car, but I highly suggest pulling the sump off too and checking the oil pickup isn't blocked, which means pull the engine
  16. I'll give you a hand if I get to keep the engine
  17. You mean Lysaghts where it still operates and isn't vacant? To put one anywhere, you're going to need to be looking south, all of the areas that you could potentially put a drag strip are either already marked out for the freeway extension/detour around towns, or are already in planning stages for development of housing. You may be well better off speaking with those in Nowra whom are already pushing for a drag strip (And I believe it has been before council down there also). I can't think of any land around the Wollongong/Shellharbour region that would be level enough, and far enough from housing to allow a drag strip at all. As Tats mentioned, you will need to build a good business case!
  18. You're going to bulldoze the mountains? Just drive 1.5 hours and use a top notch internationaly recognised track!
  19. Aus post arrived! Cheers Damo!
  20. Nothing like a turbo car. The power will actually be instantaneous. If you have a turbo that comes on only over 4K, even once you're over those revs and stand on it, it takes time for power to appear. Sounds like some people may be surprised at how much a very driveable lower powered engine can still pull a lap time down.
  21. Not gunna happen. We don't have any where to put it.
