  1. my shaft was pretty much the weld thickness on the standard yoke too long so around 7mm at a guess. i can remember the exact measurement fromt output shaft to centre bearing mount
  2. with trans in neutral noise with clutch in is throw out bearing noise with clutch out is input shaft bearings rough guide of course
  3. what happens when you push ac on?. get someone to turn the ac on while the engine is running and see if the pump spins. you can spin the pulley when its not clutched in, id say the aircon pump is no good its seized. either dont turn on the ac or just pull the belt off until you can get a new pump
  4. just spend the money get a front shaft made up its cheap enough. i had to shorten my front section to make it fit. BUBBA. what did you do about the centre bearing cause bolting a 33 front onto a 32 rear eliminates the bearing???. postive you had a them model shafts??
  5. also another option is you might of broken the clutch fork where the ball pivots
  6. bit of extra protection againist blowing out the gasket i guess. well the old engine lasted around 60,000klm with a hard time and when it was stripped down to fix a broken oil squirter it was still sealing perfectly.
  7. it will definetly break again no doubt about that, but it will do it long after the car is out of your hands
  8. i use steel ring with OEM nissan gasket havent had a issue up to 25psi yet
  9. either will fit the offset fittings dont get in the way. flip a coin and order that one. make sure its legit not a copy though

  11. not that hard to do, how much you willing to pay for work, ive got plenty spare time
  12. yokes arent interchangeable due to peened over uni joints. get the rb25 yoke welded on the the rb20 shaft job done
  13. the far most forward on is the reverse lights switch. rear one is a neutral switch
  14. it was a local driveshaft place in Bundaberg but any driveshaft shop will be able to handle the job its not rocket science cost me $190, i supplied the yoke, they welded the 25 yoke onto 20 shaft and rebalanced both shafts together.
  15. you cannot attach a 33 front to a 32 rear as its is way too long and the centre bearing wont work. rb25 yoke welded onto r32 front at the correct lenght. only way to do it properly. cost me 190 for shortened length weld yoke on and rebalance of both half shafts
  16. i did the conversion last week also. speedo easy as and is within 2 klms of accurate. crossmember just welded some 5mm flat bar to exsisting crossmember and re drilled holes. the tailshaft in mine needed to be shorter by about 8-10mm also need the rb25 yoke. the length isnt a universal measurement. my measurement from output shaft to hole centre for the centre bearing was 41.9cms
  17. cheers for that mate but a mate had some lying around in his shed. DELETE THREAD
  18. probably wrong section. Does anybody know where i could get a oil squirter for a rb25 new or is it all 2nd hand only. part is obsolete at Nissan
  19. you need a new climate control unit to fix the stuck on hot or cold problem. only way i figured out how to fix it. the motor in this topic as previously stated controls face, feet, windscreen etc vent control
  20. another video lost quality in the compression but oh well. skip to 50secs if you wanna see race
  21. my net is being slow as usual so i will upload the others when i get a chance but heres one
  22. i got video of it out on the track ill post it up later tonight if i get a chance
  23. rb30 gearbox is the same as a rb20 gearbox just different casings. everything will bolt up. starter, slave, tailshaft, mounts. it is the tinest bit longer but nothing that the slip joint in the tailshaft wont take up
