  1. That's what a mechanical diff does.. I've got a Nismo 2-way so it's worse Could try some different fluid to maybe quieten it down.
  2. Mine bound up on the NISSAN logo, there are some calipers that don't have the big embossed NISSAN so that could be the case. Only happened with the 280mm brakes..
  3. Too big, can't shut the bonnet
  4. Do they have the embossed NISSAN logo?
  5. It could be cam timing but it won't be because you're using 25DE cams, we've pushed 365rwkw through my standard 25DE head and a stock RB20 plenum & throttlebody.
  6. IIRC, as it was quite some time ago.. when I had stock brakes I had to run a 3mm spacer or the 34GTT rims bound up on the calipers. Problem was alleviated when going to 33gtst brakes as the caliper sat away from the little dippy bit inbetween each of the 34GTT spokes.. good luck!
  7. R34 era RB25 Neos can be NIStuned. R33 era RB25's can't be NIStuned with the stock ECU but you can use either a Z32 ECU (has VCT controller) or an RB20 ECU + a VCT controller (MSD windows switch or something like the eboost2 has a built in window switch).
  8. This is what I'm thinking for the breather fittings.....
  9. Not really, have gone pretty much as far as I can until I get my plenum back and get my bends for the dump pipe. What I will be doing tomorrow is going to see Steve May to get some clutch master cyl. nuts and an R33 GTSt power steering resevoir. The standard resevoir doesn't quite fit around the Neo turbos elbow so will get a 33 unit as they are much shorter. That means I can't run the extra loop on the p/s system without Tee-ing into the single return so I'm going to order one of those bypass fittings from JJR. So yeah tomorrow, collect a couple of bits, bolt clutch MC down then I'll probably chuck the front up on stands and get a mate to help me bleed the clutch and brakes. Anyone a machinist in here? need to get a couple of fittings made up.. my nice -10 breather fittings don't fit under the bonnet
  10. We even have stupid laws that prevent the widespread distribution of E85 etc
  11. Would be nicer if they brought out some ethanol fuels..
  12. Half-cuts and engine/gearboxes, r33 25s, neo 25s and a few rb26s I believe
  13. I can't remember what it's called but there is a thin steel plate between the engine and bellhousing, dust cover of some sorts?
  14. Post the link... Basically, your front diff is in your sump - it is effectively a GTR setup so needs to be treated as such (that's if your car is a gts4). It's a pretty big mission to change the sump in a GTR and I can't recall seeing bolt in solutions.. they all tend to be weld on extensions. You can't use a RWD sump and the "sump adapters" are for putting 4WD sumps on RWD engines (such as an RB30 block).
  15. Not piggybacked, just a whole NIStuned Z32 ECU. Series 1 stags are like R33 GTSt's when it comes to NIStune. Gearboxes are also R33GTSt ilk. As for suspension, I'm not that knowledgable with Stageas.. mine came with Teins but I did fit an R33GTR front swaybar (got a rear to go on when I found some D bushes, link angle is a tad extreme on autos due to the wider cradle, at least with series 2 that is). I also fitted R33GTSt adj. rear upper arms and I know front driveshafts are all the same across all the 4WD Skylines and Stageas. Needs a better solder-sucker then... some can be a bitch but you have to persevere. My mate sometimes puts extra solder on troublesome holes to aid with getting rid of the old solder. Just have to watch how much heat you put into the board! P.S. scored a manual rear cradle... mmm gtr axles
  16. I can rip a picture out of the workshop manual if you want, it's what I used when putting the GTR cooler/piping/bov's in my car to make sure I had all the bits I needed
  17. BURN SUCKER
  18. I can kill it fire if needed
  19. What do you mean? I have a bunch of uncollected boards at home.... Nope, should line up fine with all 4 holes, you do need to bend a few components on the main board out of the way though. There is no link, it's something I had done at a gearbox workshop because he couldn't do me a full proper shift kit. Big Jim is the man though, he's done his and I'm sure if you asked him nicely he might help you Yours is a series 1 though Mitch, different to ours (yours is essentially the same as an R33 GTSt auto box) and more support.
  20. Email [email protected] for engines. As for installation.. if you can't do it yourself it's going to cost you a fair bit. Maybe ring around the workshops listed in the workshop thread..
  21. What calipers? I've got 324mm rotors with 33gtst calipers and there is no way they would fit under 33gtst rims! They just fit under R34 GTT rims but a 17" in a lesser offset would probably work well.
  22. Will it hit the rail before it hits the stop?
  23. There are a couple of autosparkies on here, try Jimmy-33T and I think the other guy is danny14 or something
  24. Cheers! I've only got 235/40s on 18x8 +40ish so should be alright I guess, will have to order some
