  1. Pale imitation of a real R32
  2. Chris, that is why I'm a fan of welding the snout up and machining to suit the particular gears you are using. For me, 12thou is way too much slop! As for the oil pump relief, I'm running a stock RB30E pump on my next engine and I shimmed the relief spring with an approx. 2mm washer.
  3. If you want to run a 25DET (r33 era) head then you effectively need to do a 25 conversion, everything that applies to a normal 25 conversion will apply to your situation.
  4. Water pump choice depends on revs, I won't be spinning the thing over 7000rpm so standard pump is fine. If I was a drifter living life between 7000-9000rpm then I would go for an N1 pump. The thermostat is also fine, our engines are designed to rough at roughly 80deg. I've never been a fan of the lower temp nismo thermostats.. if you need one of those to keep temps down then you have issues elsewhere.
  5. No worries
  6. Yeah standard OEM RB30 water pump (guy I got the bottom end off put a new one on not long before I got it) and I put a standard 76.5deg thermostat in there. On my last 30 I was running a standard RB20 water pump
  7. If the 30 bottom end isn't built, you shouldn't really spin it above 7000rpm. If the 30 bottom end IS built, then spin it to whatever. Good machining, good balancing, quality balancer and it should be able to spin to whatever your head gear can handle. All this talk about 30's not revving is hogswallop.
  8. Shiney!
  9. I thought it was last friday of every month
  10. This Friday? Same bat time? Same bat place?
  11. Yeah I heard that's what you have to do with 26 piping, the spacers I used 25x10 flatbar and some longer bolts.
  12. No need to send the ECU away, I have a mate that can install boards locally, won't need a different plug for the manual ECU.
  13. Griff, nah already got too much purple Nak, in the 32! The wagon needs a new gearbox Have got another 30 bottom end that will eventually go in the wagon Matt, it already fit! with stock plenum it rubbed with bonnet and ever so slightly on the timing belt cover backing plate, I did redrill the engine mounts but not sure if I will run it like that.. the sump is pretty huge so if it clears I'll drop it down, if not I'll leave it up as I've got a forward facing plenum now and the bonnet spacers help too.
  14. I can do the AFM for you Injectors, swapping plugs is easy (soldering iron and some heatshrink), I've just made a whole new injector harness for my 32 But swapping injectors themselves if you still have the standard plenum can be a bit time consuming due to the amount of stuff that needs to be removed to access the rail. 550cc is plenty for 350rwhp, they should support up to about 450-500rwhp on 98. The spray pattern is good too, it's the ones that spray like a hose that you want to avoid.
  15. Cover will stay off at least until it's tuned.. may chuck it back on so everyone thinks it's an RB20
  16. Hai
  17. Steve May has a couple of Stagea Neos on the way.
  18. Not a fan of the purple much but they were the last set he had and they were a good price.. if I had more time I would consider getting them annodised black! And cheers Corey
  19. Getting closer!
  20. You're in the same boat as R33GTSt's as far as NIStune goes, if you want VCT to work you can do it with an RB20 ECU and an RPM window switch (MSD make one or the eBoost2 comes with one built in) or a Z32 ECU. CRed wired a Haltech e11v2 into my Stagea before I got it.. great ECU.. completely wrong application. If it was a race car then yeah, sweet. The series 1 Stagea should have a separate controller for the auto, it is the series 2 (Neo engine) that has the TCM as part of the ECU. Series 1 autos are R33 era so R33 shift kits apply too.
  21. They are in America.... I see no mention of international shipping on their website and they say they use Fedex Ground, so IF they DID ship to Australia, I would expect it to cost shitloads in shipping (Fedex is just as bad as UPS or DHL, if not worse).

  23. Stock bov is fine and needs to remain plumbed back. Injectors, you're on the right track but don't go buying random shit off ebay. The group buy was from an ebay trader call tuffcarparts I think (I got some 1000cc Rochesters off him a while back) and was a fair bit cheaper than that link, even for single sets.. have a read through here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/352869-group-buy-siemensbosch-injectors/ Nah I don't know your car but that does sound like something Rowan would do
