Was a hella mission with all the logistics involved but engine is now in and bolted to the drivetrain, bonnet just rubs on cam gears or backing plate (not sure which yet) which it always did. I had redrilled the engine mount holes but opted not to lower the engine so I could keep clearance between the swaybar and the sump. Might try so bigger bonnet spacers and if the rubbing is a big issue and starts destroying belts, I may have to modify the bonnet
Or.. just be gay and put the cover back on
My nice -10 breather fittings don't fit under the bonnet either So need to figure something else out there.
So excited that it is home with the engine in, now I can get stuck into the piping!
