  1. Mine did this the other week when I went to bleed them up (had front calipers off), I'm guessing it was a seal in the master cylinder and because the car has been sitting so long it ate through the seal on the booster as well. Picked up another master and booster from Steve May for cheap cheap
  2. Try steve may, [email protected]
  3. Came across a big stash of s1 and s2 bits, fenders/lights/grills/hatches/seats/autech stuff/etc
  4. Hangon.. who was filming and how fast were they going?? They made it sound like a Ch10 employee shot the footage.. Oh and after seeing the impound warehouse, I reckon they're stoked they finally got a couple of cars that were actually worth something!
  5. I haven't checked the dipstick yet, I just chucked 6.5L in before I dropped the engine in the car but will obviously check the level before I kick it in the guts.
  6. No, it's not.
  7. Sounds good to me
  8. 6.5L I believe, it's pretty much a High Energy Pro-circuit sump but several hundred dollars cheaper.
  9. Saturday morning or late Sunday afternoon would be best. I've got a paintball dinner at the Noble Falls Tavern Saturday evening then camping up at the field and training Sunday morning
  10. Holy crap.. is there really that much difference with the 4WD rear ends?? I know they are wider and the hubs are a different material but I would have thought a rear wheel bearing is a rear wheel bearing..
  11. Interesting indeed!
  12. Got a part number?
  13. Yeah that's what I was thinking, my car came with the grill and bonnet so I guess that means I have GTR headlights too O_o Can take the diverter plate off and snap some pics if you want
  14. Must have been the RB20DE I was thinking of then but yes, everything bolts to everything. Last night I bolted a 25 flywheel to a 30 crank using 25 flywheel bolts and bolted a 25 clutch to it. I've also used a 25 clutch on my old RB20 no dramas, then transferred the same clutch and flywheel to the original 30 we built.
  15. I've got my car and all my parts at home now, so I have a CAS, an igniter and a coil harness that aren't on the engine yet.. but I still have no transport.
  16. Yeah 25 covers and grill is attached with cable ties There is meant to be clips that hold it to some brackets next to the headlights (can't remember if they are part of the headlight itself or not).
  17. I think the RB30E clutch disc is smaller diameter (like RB20) than RB25/26 but all flywheels bolt to all cranks (with the appropriate bolts, I believe RB25 and RB26 are different lengths) and RB25 clutches bolt to to RB20 flywheels.
  18. Finally dropped the 30 back in the car last night and with the engine mounts bolted with stock holes there is about 10mm clearance between the swaybar and ASR sump, will throw a couple of shitty pics up later.
  19. Cheers! Was a hella mission with all the logistics involved but engine is now in and bolted to the drivetrain, bonnet just rubs on cam gears or backing plate (not sure which yet) which it always did. I had redrilled the engine mount holes but opted not to lower the engine so I could keep clearance between the swaybar and the sump. Might try so bigger bonnet spacers and if the rubbing is a big issue and starts destroying belts, I may have to modify the bonnet Or.. just be gay and put the cover back on My nice -10 breather fittings don't fit under the bonnet either So need to figure something else out there. So excited that it is home with the engine in, now I can get stuck into the piping!
  20. Nice, needs a GTR bonnet Just got home.. what a mission of a night!

    Rising Sunday

What about a charity cruise to raise money to send my paintball team to World Cup Asia later in the year? P.S. while I wasn't there, I do completely agree with Rowan on the ZOMG COPS BAIL and driving straight into them issue, seen it happen many times before and I actually appreciate the decoy
  22. The housing and centre in my 32 are from an S13, bolted my 32gtst Nismo 2-way centre in no worries, just used the 32 backing plate. Axle differences have been mentioned, only other thing is don't mix and match pinions/crown wheels.
  23. Just use the R32GTSt (RB20DET) engine mounts and redrill the holes lower as per the pdf guide, that should get rid of most of the clearance issues and all that might need attention is the "twinturbo" pipe.
  24. 200cc isn't going to give you an extra 95kw.. that's what the turbo does.. So, whatever turbo you have chosen is going to make the same power on whatever engine it goes on (as long as the engine is big enough to spin the turbo up), capacity just determines WHEN that power will be made. 200cc probably won't make any significant difference.. 1000cc on the other hand.. between my RB20DET and RB30DET with the same turbo, they made the same power.. but the RB30DET made it 1900rpm sooner!
